Charged Extra when I purchased Object Desktop
Nowhere was I asked to "upgrade Object Desktop". I was charged the full price (currently discounted to $29.95) PLUS 19.95 for an EXTRA YEAR!!!. NOR was I even ASKED if I wished to purchase an extra upgrade!]

Sad day...HG_Eliminator has passed away.
Snowy told me yesterday...
So sorry our friend and Marine HG_Eliminator, aka Dave Walker is no longer here.
He had vision problems which made him quit skinning and being a Mod. He was a Master Skinner.
But more, HG was a great guy, and everyone's friend. I've missed him being around for a long time.
Now it's Rest In Peace, Marine.

Russia has plans for an alternate internet
I was cruising around and found this not-so-new item, but one which does not portend well.
Not about net neutrality which looks like it's moribund, no, this one is about Russia having plans for an alternate internet involving China, Brazil, India and South Africa.
This is allegedly to insure everyone involved against NSA hacking. Sometimes you have to laugh from irony, though.

name of fences BOX disappeared
Hi, fellows. Fences worked all right until yesterday. For any reason, the name of each fences box disappeared. They all are aligned on the top of my window (so name should be visible at the bottom part of each box).
Yesterday, all names disappeared and I didn't have access to the drag and drop place of each fence. So, I reconfigured all fences to a new place and after that, move it back to the top.
But, before the title of the box changed to the bottom when fences is aligned with top; now,...![]()

Registry key is being identified by security software as "bad"
I'm running Windows 10 and Fences. Norton Power Eraser (NPE) is identifying the following registry key as being "bad":
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3385276851-1571975322-1473307828-1001\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\"HideIcons"
The "HideIcons" part of the key makes me suspect it may be related to the Fences program. Anyone know if this is a part of the Fences software installation, and therefore maybe a false positive by NPE? Thanks for any input on thi...![]()

Not sure if this is the correct location for this post but I think I found a windowblinds bug...
If I tap the F11 key to make windows explorer *not to be confused with Internet Explorer* to make it go full screen explorer closes instead of going full screen not matter what skin I'm running except if I'm using the default skin. I'm on windows 10 X64 and windowblinds 10.65![]()

So what are your feelings about latest iPhone?
Personally, i would indeed like to have it, it looks mighty fine. Would take it over iPhone 8 for sure, which now looks pretty obsolete. That price though - 1200 EUROs over here... i still use iPhone 5S, which i bought 3 years ago and it cost me 830 EUROs. Already that was expensive...now 3 years later, another 400 more? Where does this end?![]()

I just love dogs
I have 3 children. I love them to pieces.
But dogs? Obviously not in the same league but holy cow there is just something so touching in their unconditional devotion.
Sometimes, especially with the smarter ones, their similarities to small children can be uncanny. For instance, my 6 year old Entlevucher brings her stuffed dinosaur to bed every night, she just sleeps with it.
Who else here feels the same?![]()

Hi guys, I've a strange problem with the forum, basically I can't the replies people made to my posts.

I saw that someone has replied to it (or at least it look like someone has done), but when I go check I see no reply at all.
The same goes for other posts I made. Also, when I check my profile, it says my status is "offline" even if I'm not.

Windows Explorer crashes because of Fences
After installing Fences 3.03 on Windows 10, every time while showing the desktop (by using Win+D or pressing show desktop button), Windows explorer crashes and then restarts.
We could observe the desktop is re-drawn and sometime there will be a dialog saying Fences cannot be loaded.

Start10 panel width shortens...
I am having the right panel on my Start10 change size at "random". I searched and found that this problem has been around since at least early 2016.
Is this some really, really hard bug to find? Seems a shame because it is indeed annoying.
Maybe I missed a fix?

Managing multiple displays
I have three displays on my workstation. A Dell wide-screen in the middle and two vertical Samsung on each side.
It appears that Fences does not play well with my DELL Ultrasharp 3880x1440 display and/or Adobe CC apps.
Is there any way to enable Fences only on my "outside" two displays?
Also, does anyone know how to control where new desktop items are placed?
It seems random for me.![]()

Bugs: Fences renaming documents in fences, not moving icons properly
My system is running Windows 10 Enterprise, 1703, and I'm encountering two bugs in the latest version of Fences.
One is that Fences is arbitrarily renaming the titles of some select documents that I have organized in fences, and which I access frequently. The title change is only for the icon description, as when I open the document, the title within Microsoft Word is the proper title. The renamed title is as the name of another icon on my desktop, like it just copied the ...![]()

Unable to change sort order in Fences
I have changed the sort order to None, to reset my "opened" count. However now I can't change the sorting back to "Number of times opened". The option is there, I select it and nothing happens. No change in icon order, no error message and the sorting option is still set as "None".

I have requested the new changes you now see on the site that make the forums cleaner visually.
The next step is to have a lot more data presented when you mouse over an item.
I know some people won't like the changes, but as someone who lives on these forums, I really need the site to be cleaner and quicker to navigate through.

Double Cursors when Using Cursor FX Plus - Windows 10
I recently purchased two new desktop computers with windows 10. They upgraded themselves to the Windows 10 Anniversary edition. One computer works fine with Cursor FX Plus (V 2.16). The other computer ends up with a double mouse cursor (the windows default, and the Cursor FX cursor behind it). How can I fix this issue?![]()
