So…what is a Polymorphic Virus? Quoting the technopedia:

Anyone of the resident HW enthusiasts going to upgrade to upcoming AMD Threadripper or Intel i9? If yes, which one are you looking at?

Personally, i was thinking about sticking to my last year´s setup with 6-core Intel CPU, but the upgrade bug gets stronger the more i read about it Now i consider getting the CPU and new mobo and switching just 2 of those for my current ones, keeping the rest of the rig the same - which i think should be no issue. I will probably go Intel way, unless AM...

Hi, fellows. Fences worked all right until yesterday. For any reason, the name of each fences box disappeared. They all are aligned on the top of my window (so name should be visible at the bottom part of each box).

Yesterday, all names disappeared and I didn't have access to the drag and drop place of each fence. So, I reconfigured all fences to a new place and after that, move it back to the top.

But, before the title of the box changed to the bottom when fences is aligned with top; now,...

Hi I'm just posting this just in case it may help anyone else that may be having problems with Object dock manager not showing up.

A few weeks ago I upgraded my Win10 to the creators update anything seemed to be working fine, yesterday i wonted to changed an icon but I noticed that when trying to open the dock manager nothing was showing up (everything worked fine before update) so after poking around and trying different things to get it working I've finally found a way to get it working.

I'm running Windows 10 and Fences. Norton Power Eraser (NPE) is identifying the following registry key as being "bad":

HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3385276851-1571975322-1473307828-1001\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\"HideIcons"

The "HideIcons" part of the key makes me suspect it may be related to the Fences program. Anyone know if this is a part of the Fences software installation, and therefore maybe a false positive by NPE?  Thanks for any input on thi...

It seems that only can buy Fences 3.0 on the Stardock website.

However, only Fences 2.0 can run my PC successfully.

Fences 3.0 does not work on my PC after I installed and uninstalled and rebooted again and again.

And i am tired to debug this problem.

So may i use Fences 3.0 product key to activate my Fences 2.0?

I am very satisfied with my Fences 2.0 currently.

Hi,

I have upgraded my Fences 2.0 to 3.0 to work with Windows 10 my I am having a glitch.

Whenever I hit "Win + D" to show the Desktop the service explorer.exe seems to crash and restart:

Windowblinds was installed and working properly for a long time but yesterday I had some problems with Firefox and uninstalled all (Firefox, Start 10 and Windowblinds). Then I reinstalled both Start 10 and Windowblinds. Start 10 works fine but Windowblinds does... nothing. I picked a theme, open a few folders, browsers, restarted computer but nothing happens. Acts like it not even there.

I just purchased Fences and like it very much.  Being able to set each fence color helps to visually categorize groups of similar functions.  One thing that would help would be to have the parametric values display when adjusting the sliders (transparency, intensity, tint, saturation).  That way, one wouldn't have to color another, related fence by guessing at its color values.  Thanks.

I’m one of those people. Yep, I’m the kind of person who starts getting all excited for the holiday season well before it even arrives. I’ve got the carols blaring on the radio and the decorations up before Thanksgiving dinner hits the table. My sister always used to say that if it could be decorated for the holidays, then I’d have it decked out and bleeding red and green.

Hi, my fences make my desktop black, mostly when i switch between multiple fences desktop, but also when i close a browser window, for example. when i draw my mouse on icon i see the the original blu appear behind some icons. I have a simple blu colored desktop and my graphic card is an hd intel with driver well updated. I'm currently working with two monitors, the laptop one and another. 

Why do this happen?

When I try to launch WB Configure, it opens for a less than a second then closes.  Anyone have any idea as to why this is happening? I am running Win10 and have WB installed on my D drive.  Do I need to reinstall on my SD drive, C?
