They’re coming!

Saw this (take a look at the 8 slides in the show)…as well as a notice about a 50 mile wide swarm of grasshoppers over Texas…and figured this might be the right time to say, “It’s been great! Fanx for the fish!”, if these events are a portent of something awful to come…

Has anyone been able to get Autopager to work on the Stardock forums?

So that one does not have to "click" for each page?

MS has released a tool to hide updates or pick and choose which ones to install.

Seems the backlash worked. Remains to be seen though.

I tried to install CursorFX. I downloaded it via your website, which pointed me to Download.com. Upon installing, Webroot SecureAnywhere reported Maleware, specifically Pua.Conduit.Searchprotect. Please advise!

gHacks’ Recommended Software for W10

Martin Brinkmann has come up with an excellent series of recommendations…lacking only Stardock’s products, but I don’t believe he customizes. There really isn’t a single second guess (from me, at least).

Anyway…I recommend adding ODNT to W10, and not worrying in the meantime, because you KNOW it’ll be just fine.

Take a look at the list here: http://www.ghacks.net/2015/07/26/essential-software-for-windows-10/?_m=3n%2e0038%2e1680%2ehj0ao01hy5%2e1que

Windows 10 Support?

Hi, before I spend money renewing DeskScapes and WindowsBlinds, I wanted to make sure they will be compatible with Windows 10. I know the retail release of RTM (to non-insiders) hasn't happened yet, but its only a few days away. I love these programs, just don't want to spend money if support is going to be lost.

Stuck in Desktop List View

I fat fingered a hot key that I use to launch notepad, and my desktop changed to a list view at the top of the screen.  I can't seem to find out how to change it back.  Anyone have any idea what happened and how to fix it?  Thanks!

Looking for your best Stardock software screenshots!

We are updating our Object Desktop website and we want to feature some of the great screenshots with Stardock apps that the community often posts. We want to show other potential users how others are customizing their desktops and direct them to WinCustomize to get these great skins created by our members.

If you have a screenshot we'd like to take a look and maybe have it featured.

We're looking for screenshots with Stardock software only shown. A mix of several apps is great, but...

Mandatory Updating, eh? KB3074681 Shows why this is a bad idea.

No sooner did we all say that this would be a bad idea, then MS shows us why we were right!

“If you run the latest insider build 10240 of Windows 10 you may have already received update KB3074681 which is a cumulative security update for Windows 10 that Microsoft released on July 25.

The update installs fine on machines running the operating system but seems to introduce several Explorer related bugs at the same time which users may notice when executing different acti...

“Mandatory Updates” for home users “relaxed” by MS

“Microsoft has confirmed that Windows 10 users will be able to block or undo some updates to the system. It's a minor exception to the recently-instated policy that all updates are mandatory. In previous editions of Windows, users have always had the choice of whether or not to download a new feature or security update, including whether or not it was installed automatically, or manually.” – infopackets

Also, new features will be released sooner than on a fixed schedule…not ...

What happened to Global Warming?

When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.

Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in

I'd like some global warming back...

Basically what the title says. Fences is an integral part of my desktop with all the nice features it provides so before I opt-in to to try the new sleek looking Windows 10 version I'd like to know if it actually works, at all.

Thanks!

Telling me there is a Fences Update Available

Hi all.

I have Fences v.1.01.143 and I keep getting a box appearing saying that there is a Fences Update Available. But when I click on 'Learn More', I am just taken to a page where I'm expected to pay for it. Is this right? Do I really have to pay for an update to a program I already have? If so, I will stick with the version I have as I can't justify spending the money.

TIA

When you need help with an audit, finishing your expenses, or any broad help with your business or funds, it's best to recognize what every one of your alternatives are. There are numerous individuals who offer business or expert administrations that are willing to help you, yet they may not generally be the most fit the bill for the employment. In Canada, you might want to search out a man who is a Chartered Accountant, or CA. Precisely what is a sanctioned bookkeeper? Chartered Accountant ...

Am very pleased to report that WindowBlinds works great with the Windows 10 Tech Preview.

Upgraded from Win8.1, rebooted, and WindowBlinds works fine -- no problems.

I did have to uninstall both Start8 and ModernMix, but I expected it would come to that (in the short run).
