WidnowFX does not work with Windows 10. I am not complaining, I know its the preview, just letting the developer know. 

To be more specific the windows animations don't work. Everything else seems to work. 

One thing that definitely needs fixing is transparency. I want for example if I made explorer transparent

then close and reopen it it remembers my transparency setting. Right now it doesn't. 

I may have found a Possible windows 10 Fix? or did I break Deskscape?

Apparently I may have accidently found a fix for win10 users

I was under the impression when a users goes into "Services" and disables

DeskScapes8
C:\Program Files (x86)\Stardock\DeskScapes8\ds8srv.exe

that it would keep Deskscapes from loading when windows loads?

apparently for me on windows 10 the deskscape.exe dose not load but it still loads DShost.exe which then plays the background with NO issues... so Im a bit confused because with

Hi,

 

Working on my skin I've changed some resource that affected the taskbar thumbnails and I'm kind of lost where to apply a rollback.. Is there someone knowing the culprit ?

Everytime I start/restart my Windows 8 laptop I get the window for Start8 and WindowBlinds 8 telling me that my license has expired.  I enter the info and it says it has been successfully activated.  But then he window closes and when I try to use either of those two programs the 'license has expired' window pops back up and I reenter the account info.  Over and over and over.  I am not having this problem with Fences 2, IconDeveloper, IconPackager 5, S...

I just upgraded to Windows 10, and in doing so I had to reset my computer. I realized that I hadn't made an account on your site, and now I can't download Fences. My Order Number is #3452807.

Download WindowsBlinds today and try to run setup in Windows 10 v 10240 but not work. It said:The following minimum system requirements of this setup were not met: etc...The setup will now abort.Can you tell me how I can run setup in Windows 10?Thank you

Love DeskScapes!  Early adopter so I upgraded my desktop Win 7 to Win 10 last night.  System upgraded without an issue, works well so far with several driver updates.  However, DeskScapes runs then freezes and goes to a black screen.  Seems as if the system is defaulting back to a black screen picture.  Any suggestions?  No luck so far fixing the problem.

When I start the program it displays the Home tab of the Configuration screen. The "WindowFX features:" toggle button (left, middle of the screen) says OFF. I click it and it says ON but after a couple of seconds it comes back to OFF by itself. The "Desktop Window Manager (DWM) is enabled" message is displayed on the right side.

Winstep Xtreme Version 15.7 Released. Completely compatible with Windows 10 and SD software.

So I know it’s been silent for me for a long time - I didn’t contribute as much and didn’t upload anything over the last years.
The main reason was that I had too much to do and because I was under constant stress and pressure  for the most time learning new stuff writing exams and also jumping my own shadow /hurdles and personal matters.
But I’m almost done with all of that and I almost eliminated all of these problems which is huge.

Has Anyone else the same Proplem ?

It does not matter, which Blind i select, the space between the Taskbar Icons is up to 2cm......

bottom line is that i can not manage the sofware from stardock that i have.
