Everytime I try to install WindowsBlinds (WB) 8.12 I get a message saying Reboot required - Please reboot to complete the WB uninstall before proceeding with the new installation. the install will now exit.

I do not have any version of WB on my PC. each and every time it does this - very frustrating.

It seems to be loading and installing using ODM but when it says install completed and you press next to go and start the program, there is nothing there but the other stardock app I am using....

Because the upgrade from W8.1 to W10 will be free for many, I wondered about how MS would make money. After all, it has pretty much given up on the phone part of the mobile market…

So, I figured ‘renting’ like in the Adobe model might happen. Wrong.

I have a dual monitor set-up.  I have Fences running on my desktp and only displaying on a single monitor.  Somehow I made a change whcih now forces any new icons or files saved to the desktop to appear on the alternate monitor.  Thre is space on th eprimary desktop to accomodate the files.  In short, it appears I have extended my desktop view to two monitors.  My desired configuration is that only programs I drag to the second monitor would appear there, but not for my ...

Everytime I start/restart my Windows 8 laptop I get the window for Start8 and WindowBlinds 8 telling me that my license has expired.  I enter the info and it says it has been successfully activated.  But then he window closes and when I try to use either of those two programs the 'license has expired' window pops back up and I reenter the account info.  Over and over and over.  I am not having this problem with Fences 2, IconDeveloper, IconPackager 5, S...

If you remember, I brought this subject up when it was just rumors regarding different update channels for W10 users, and the ability to delay updating only being allowed for premium and business users.

So. Are there any future plans to release Fences 2.0 on Steam? Or maybe.. Any Software at all. I haven't used anything else other than Fences. When I first got it back in 2013, I loved it. WiFi Sense is meant to be a quick and convenient way to connect to “Crowd sourced” WiFi networks…which might or might not be so good since “secure” rarely means the same as “quick and convenient”.

Has anyone seen a good explanation or even just a decent discussion about "time?"

I have read that the current popular scientific view of time is that the past has no more "existence" than the future.  Is time like the pages of a book, that we could potentially re-read, as in "time travel?"  Are there some huge number of quantized pasts?   Or is it something altogether different in kind?

Just uninstalled icon packager in anticipation of it not working in windows 10. I will re install after I know it works. The problem is my taskbar and program icons now just show a blank page icon. Is there a way to get my original icons back?

Windows still disappear when being moved when Wobbly windows is enabled, and a window is moved. There are a few windows that don't disappear (like the Object Desktop Manager), but most do.

An Exabyte of data is 10006 bytes of data (EB), or in binary (exbibyte) 10246 kibibytes (KB). Another way of looking at it is 1 EB = 10006bytes = 1018bytes = 1000000000000000000B = 1000 petabytes =1million terabytes = 1billion gigabytes. That’s a good deal of data.

Using the base pairs A-T and G-C as 0s and 1s, one gram of DNA can store approximately 450 Exabyte of data. That would be equal to roughly some billion gigabytes.

Hello.

Yesterday I turned my computer on and discovered my fences and the icons inside them were gone.I am aware of the double-click function.The program was still installed because I could still access configure fences using right click. I uninstalled the software and my icons returned. Decided to reinstall fences and still have the same problem,no fences or icons other than the icons that were not in a fence.Double click works with the icons that weren't in a fence.

Hi,

I've just lost a whole fence with a bunch of links in it. I know about double click-hide method and it is not the case. If I look for those icons through My Computer -> Desktop then I can see them there, but the fence itself is not on my Desktop. I am using the latest version and reinstalling didn't solve anything for me.
