Feature Request:  Could you implement something that would indicate if the Fences were locked?

 

Suggestion 1: Can the lock icon on the top right of each fence be replaced with a lock icon when it is locked?  I find that even when it is locked the X will still appear, which I sometimes think that i can just click on it, and which obviously won't work because it is locked, (which may send users contacting the support staff or this forum and wonder why it doesn't work,...

Here are two "exotic" (and sporadic) bugs that the support could not reproduce in several attempts. Since those occur over several versions of Fences (even v1), several new installations on several systems and even Windows re-installations, it is nearly sure that they are problems of Fences itself. Maybe someone has the time to test them out and bring the missing link to reproduce them or even a solution.

Since quite a few of us here have Windows Phones, including myself, I thought we could keep an ongoing thread where we can talk about new and useful apps for the platform.

Take a look at this ad (courtesy of Neowin.net):

Looks to me like MS is going to be weeding out old code and putting newer and (hopefully) better stuff in. Even better: ‘top level UI surfaces’…replacing/refactoring pieces of code (i.e. Win32 code).

Even better…the new frameworks allowing more frequent updates.

We’re talking Windows 9. We’re talking streamlining.

Lot's of stuff have been happening in my life both good and bad but it's been a great learning experience nonetheless and I'm sorry if I've vanished off the radar from appearing on this site on a regular basis I used to be active on this forum.

I now work for a company that publishes productivity software and games and have lots of tasks to accomplish each day at my job. The best part of it is that I can work from home as an independent contractor and set my own hours.

What's the last movie you saw?  Doesn't matter if it was at home or at a theater.

Last one I saw was Captain Philips.  I thought it a pretty good movie, especially since it was based on real events.

The animations stop working after about an hour. All other functions still work though.

Turning windowsFX off then on again usually resolves the problem. Though sometimes it doesn't and a restart is required.

Need a bit of help from the gurus....I recently came back to windowblinds after a few years away....the GUI seems totally different to what I used to use and I've now hit a problem I cant seem to sort by myself....

I've somehow managed to changr the text under my desktop icons to something I cant read, nor can I delete that font from my machine as (Font is in use) it wont let me...Can some kind soul point me in the right direction to change this to something that's readable ??

Hi! I tried to search the forums before asking this, but I did not see any quick answers. Does ObjectDock work without any issues on Windows 8.1? Since I upgraded to 8.1, my Start8 is having issues, so I am curious about ObjectDock. Thanks in advance!

I have had to de-install WindowBlinds 8.05 after these latest updates from MS.

Issues:

Windows would not boot.

Frequent Explorer crashes.

What I already have tried. 

 I de-installed WindowBlinds and startup problems and explorer crashes ceased. 

I downloaded the latest WindowBlinds 8.05 installer re-installed WindowBlinds rebooted and the same problems returned.

I have WindowBlinds 8.05 removed from my system now and it will stay that way until the problems wi...

Hi guys. I'm a paid user, Pro version. Had no problems for years. I recently rebooted and my feces are completely gone. The icons that used to be inside those fences are still there, however the fences themselves are missing. There's also no Fences right click menu on the desktop, nor is there an option to create a new one when I right click and drag a box. Launching "Fences Pro" from the start menu brings up the familiar window, and it acts as if the software is still installed, however...

So I've had this problem for months now, been back and forth with Stardock technical support and nothing they suggest seems to fix it. I've used Windowblinds for years and apart from one issue with UAC a few years ago I've never had any big problems with it. But at the end of my tether I've disabled it this morning as I simply cannot fix this issue.
