I have a new MacBook Pro with retina display that I use Windows 8.1 on. I have downloaded WindowBlinds but every skin I apply has the same problem - tiny system icons. These are the icons in the title bar (eg window minimize, window maximize, window close), also the icons on the bottom right in the notification area of the task bar, and also the right arrow icons in the Start menu (I am using Start 8 to get a proper Start menu going).

The tiny size affects programs like Firefox - the top titl...

Hi! I tried to search the forums before asking this, but I did not see any quick answers. Does ObjectDock work without any issues on Windows 8.1? Since I upgraded to 8.1, my Start8 is having issues, so I am curious about ObjectDock. Thanks in advance!

Ok I have over 500 games and this is one of the very few single digits examples of nonfunctional I have. My issue is this, When I launch my game it just freezes at the first screen with Fallen Enchantress. I have not made a ticket because waiting for 3 days for a generalized response is not going to do much for getting a resolution. So I have done the following.
Purchased item through steam so first reaction was to:
Check game integrity So I did.
Then I reinstalled.

I've tried a few Windowblinds on my Windows 8.1 laptop and I've noticed they tend to make the menu area transparent around/above the address bar in Chrome and FireFox. Perhaps in other applications as well. (see screen shot below)

Is there a way (typically) to prevent these areas from becoming transparent? Seeing other windows behind the browser is distracting and drivng me nuts. Okay, I was already nuts.

I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem with Google Chrome. I am using the latest version of WindowBlinds. I am using Windows 7 with the lastest updates and the most current version of Google Chrome. The border around Google Chrome is messed up, the minimize, maximize and close buttons are missing and everything on the border is missing. All the other applications are fine, just Google Chrome. Its been a full week and I have yet to receive an email for finalizing my purchase of WindowsBlinds...The purchase went through and has subtracted the $9.99 from my bank account, but I'm still unable to finalize my purchase. I've been using the trial version, I hope that the email will be sent before the trial runs out or I will request that I receive my money back.

I was trying to use my Windows 8.1 machine as a primary, and the software errored. It says the software is activated on another machine.

Do I only get one primary machine? What if I dual boot? Does each OS need it's own seperate activation/purchase?

Hello,

generally i want the dock to appear when the mouse touches the edge of the screen. I use it all the time. But in some programs the work area is near the edge, so the dock comes to foreground all the time while working. Therefore it would be great to have a hotkey to quickly disable/enable this feature.

I downloaded WindowBlinds 8 today. I played with it a while and when I clicked on "Edit in SkinStudio "IE opened to the WindowBlinds web page and there are no links there to anything called SkinStudio.

CNET sent me one of their Download Alerts informing readers that a new version (2.14) of Fences has been released with a link to their site, which lists several improvements. However, there is no mention of a new version on the Stardock site and the download being offered is still 2.12. If this is true, please update your site. If not, you'd better deal with CNET who is then distributing likely malware. Please advise.

I have just jumped into the world of skinning with this suite of apps. I thank Wizard for already helping me out a bit.

I have tweaked the regular win 8 theme a bit and have it almost perfect; except, I currently do not use the start button. So, I use start is gone to hide it. If I use the regular win 8 taskbar without running window blinds, start is gone works fine. However, when WB is running, it leaves a space where the start button would be.&nbs...

I don't know if there's a way to do this, but it would be a load of help if there is. My request is to allow there to be a way to fence files that are already in folders or removable drives. I keep all of my files on a flash drive, and I need to find a better way to organize them than to just have multiple folders. I hope this can be done.

Hello all, I'm using WB8/SKS8 and I'm having a hard time tracking down some rogue Tahoma fonts. They're in the right click popups menus in Firefox, the message boxes, tooltips, and OD popup flyout menus. I've tried tracking down and changing all the "OS Default Fonts" I could find, but these ones are eluding me. I've already changed all the skin defined fonts and system defined fonts in the Fonts section, but these don't seem to be affected. I'm editing the Lantana sk...
