Hi, is it possible to remove the start button from objectdock and then add a shortcut to start8 instead. I've tried but can't seem to figure it out.![]()

in my humble opinion enjoying it's heyday from 2006 to 2012.
but much to my dismay, as windows has advanced, object desktop is becoming
more and more obsolete. several of it's primary programs are now dinosaurs with no

Help win 8 preparing automatic repair stuck at diagnostic window
I have win 8.1 and The repair tool options do not work. I know a bit about computers but I am not a wiz by any means.
I've never reinstalled a OS like win 8 on a dell computer before. I'm not sure what to expect.
IN the repair tool I have the option to refresh my os and that does not work. The other option is to do everything from scratch. This is where I am a bit scared. I don't really care about my date it's all backed up on a secondary drive. What I am worried abou...![]()

Here's hoping Schumi recovers
Michael Schumacher is currently in Hospital in a coma after a skiing accident.
22 years of F1 didn't get him....hopefully this won't either.
I've 'known' him since he started in F1....even provided supporting evidence which ensured he won his first Championship [in Adelaide]...in my role as Race 'Observer'.
Some people could never warm to him...but like Seb....he's 'just' German.....they're a bit that way - serious/driven.
Can't deny hi...![]()

The Falling Skies Thread
There are very few shows I watch on TV, but probably my favorite that I wait for each year is Falling Skies which is on TNT.
The fourth season is starting on June 22nd, and from what I've been reading and watching it looks like it's going to be a good one. If you are not familiar with the show, it's basically about a group of survivors from a catastrophic alien invasion. Steven Spielberg is the executive producer.

Well, after some genealogical research on clan starkers, I've found his uncle Seamus (which he did yet again in this interview).

Search bar in fences?

I am using this software for about a month or two now, and I LOVE IT! I am sure I will never install a desktop or laptop without this software.
One thing I would like to see is a search bar in the title-bar of a fence. I have actually two fences with many shortcuts in it, and sometimes it can be hard finding the good shortcut.
Also if I sort the fence by name, it can also sometimes be hard, because I have many shortcuts with the letter ''S'' fo...![]()

No longer functions after latest windows 8.1 update
After the latest windows update this evening, Window Blinds would no longer allow Windows 8.1 to complete the boot up process. All I would get is a black screen. After booting to safe mode and changing Window Blinds to the default theme could I get Windows 8.1 to complete the boot up. After I got Windows to boot up, I changed my theme back, then none of my programs would run including Photoshop CS6 and Office 2013. I had to change the theme back to default. Anybody ...![]()

Window blinds 8 and taskbar on 2nd monitor problems.

I have window blind 8 installed as well as the Windows 8 start menu, and have put a taskbar on my 2nd monitor.
When window blinds is running, there will be times (not all the time) that the taskbar on the 2nd monitor will keep popping up in flashing. The regular taskbar on primary monitor one that is provided by Windows does not exhibit this behavior.
When I unload window blinds 8 this stops happening.
The programs that I have open are usually just Internet Explorer, Google...![]()

New virus CryptoDefender is worse than CryptoLocker. UPDATE.
Sorry to bring bad news, but it has gotten worse.
So how is it worse? CryptoDefender wipes out all Shadow Volume Copies (also called VSS or Volume Snapshot Service) and ransom demands are added to every file containing encrypted files.
