Could someone tell me why the Menu Item Text (1) settings control the Menu Bar (Notepad, Etc.) (2) and the Menu Bar Options Text (2) settings? Why can't they be set separately? Changing the text colors in the Standard Menu Bars area does nothing at all.

Things like this are extremely annoying, and there are lots of areas in SkinStudio 8.01 like this. I would gladly rip SkinStudio apart and report them all, but I don't get paid to do that, Stardock personnel do. Thank you.

As a first project, I thought I would like to improve upon Aero colors themes by changing the light blue areas like the menubar, and the gray areas that you have in some dialog boxes and other windows, to coordinate with the main color. I thought it would be fairly straightforward, but I can't even begin to figure out how to do it or if it is in fact even doable. I would be very grateful if someone could give me some guidance.

Fresh install of Windows 7 64 bit, fresh download and install of WB. I have tried several different skins and the same thing happens with all of them. When I right click one of my drives Explorer crashes and restarts. This only happens with right clicking a drive, right clicking files or folders work fine. I am pasting in my DXDiag for driver and hardware information. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi all,

We have the experience that we can help our youngest son of 7 (who is diagnosed with autism) a lot when we
visualize the daily tasks for him. Things like drying himself after taking a shower, taking a shower etc can be performed without our help after we visualized those tasks for him. And after a while he can do this without those visualizations.

Creating those visualizations was a lot of work, using Word with pictures is a pain. Especially when you want to change / move th...

Ok, so I decided to create a new Chatroom, because the old one was getting pretty....old!

I've loved using these cursors 9 years since Cursor XP but had to uninstall Cursor FX Plus ~2 years ago because it wouldn't work correctly with my new Windows 7 64 bit computer. The Cursor FX home page shows FX+ working with Windows 7 but the latest Cursor FX spec. sheet still says nothing past Vista. I've invested a lot of time into my WinVista-based theme.  I need a way to import only titlebar/Windowframes (and all properties/images) from another Win7 skin. 

I dont think there is a Skinstudio setting that conveniently exports/imports parts of a skin (at least I didnt see any).  However, Im guessing there is still possible way to do this that expert skin builders use; since it wouldn't be feasible to copy all possible titlebar/Windowframe settings (one by one).

I installed Office 2013 today and find I'm unable to launch any of the applications from a dock.  I tried a single shortcut, flyout folder dock and a standalone stacks dock. From the shortcuck dock or Flyout dock, the app highlights as if it's been selected but never launches.  From the stack, it gives me an alert saying the .lnk file can't be found.  From Explorer I'm able to launch the same shortcuts.

I installed the 64 bit version, could that be the problem? ...

Apologies if this is miscategorized - but is anyone else receiving a security error on upload? (Zip as well as Preview image). Strange. Figured it was me, but I'm endlessly dumping my cache and cookies and other such browser goodies.

 

Or is this just a temporary thing that'll resolve itself? hehe

I would really like to take advantage of Clover tabs in my Explorer windows; but when I install it, it blatantly adds this ugly blue WinXP titlebar to my windowblinds skin (my skin has dark glass/aero blur transparent titlebar effect).  Is compatibility with clover even a possibility; or would it involve skin images that my WB skin doesnt have?  I have this gut feeling there would be no way to do this unless WB adds this functionality AND requiring WB skins to add extra images to suppo...
