I’m happy to announce that the first Master promotion of 2014 is Basj.  Basj has been around on WinCustomize since 2001 and has a member number of 281, which obviously makes him one of the first members of WC.  During that time basj has created a bunch of skins including WindowBlinds, Cursor themes, Winstep themes, and many more.

Hi,

I have recently installed Fences 2.01. But I’m running into problems with it several times per day. What is happening is that I will select one icon on my desktop and rename it, move it, delete it, etc. and discover that Fences will also rename/move/delete one or more other icons on my desktop. This happens many times per day so I know for sure that I have not accidentally selected other icons. Fences just seems to do it at random.

Will Decor 8 (1.07) be update so it is possible to make lockscreen background change from a folder of images like I am told that Windows 8.1 feature.

I do have Windows 8 but I hate to have to download Windows 8.1 just for getting the same features that I have even better in Stardock object Desktop. I just missing the "foto-frame" feature in Decor 8.

So I've had this problem for months now, been back and forth with Stardock technical support and nothing they suggest seems to fix it. I've used Windowblinds for years and apart from one issue with UAC a few years ago I've never had any big problems with it. But at the end of my tether I've disabled it this morning as I simply cannot fix this issue.

Basically what happens is my taskbar keeps locking up. By locking up I mean I click the icons and nothing happens, I can't pe...

Hi!

I am using WindowBlinds 8.02 on Windows 8.1 Pro.

I just upgraded to the v32 (recent) release of Chrome. After upgrading, I noticed that Chrome has started to consume rather excessive amounts of RAM (the ever increasing RAM usage can be observed in the Task Manager, while the browser is relatively idle). In a matter of a few minutes, one of Chrome's processes would peak at ~3.3GB of RAM, at which point the browser would freeze, requiring me to terminate its processes.

I'm getting a bit frustrated with WindowBlinds. I had hoped to be able to more than just superficially modify the Aero theme (see my post here: http://forums.wincustomize.com/editpost/451374). It's kind of discouraging to have received no answers! What happened to Global Warming?

When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.

Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in

I've recently purchased WindowBlinds, after upgrading to Windows 8 from Windows 7.

I'm unable to use WindowBlinds skins though, only because one dealbreaker feature is missing: the ability to fully customize mouse-over highlight image for ListView, for non-selected entries. (this is actually the main reason I purchased WindowBlinds for)

Currently one can customize the image for the mouse-over highlight for selected entries, but the image for mouse-over highlight for non-selected en...

I have been testing a lot of Win 8 PC's lately and I always install Start8 and when I format and reinstall Windows I thought it would have known I had already activated Start8 previously, but it now says I have activated it too many times, can I have it reset?

I purchased Windowblinds 7.1 as part of Object Desktop in 2010, and would like to upgrade to WB8, but to get the cheapest upgrade price, I need my WB Serial No. Where can I find it, as clicking on "Help / About" does not show the Serial No.?

When I right click on the desktop my context menu is sometimes skinned. Sometimes not. Is there a setting I'm not aware of?

Just thinking out loud here , because I'm not sure but ...

 

Screen Saver technology has been around forever and produces a perfect seamless loop every time .

 

I know screensavers work off of animated stills and dreams work off of AVI video ....So ..

 

Would it be possible to update " Dream Maker " to produce the the same seamless loop to a Dream ?

Not sure what would need to be done to make this happen but Stardock has the right stuff ( staff and know ho...
