3 months ago I started in a new job as a delivery/courier driver, and it has kept me way too busy to keep track of anything going on in the world of skinning.

Your license is only for one machine. It requires uninstalling Object Desktop if it is used on another machine. I run VMs and multiple machines at home. I am completely uninterested in paying for a license on every machine/VM. I also wanted to use the Icon Packager at work but your license further bans any use in commercial settings.

Unfortunately, the restrictions in your license make your Object Desktop unusable for me.

You really should consider switching to a per-user licensing model. ...

I have windows 10 home and something has occurred where I can no longer download anything from wincustomize.

I have uninstalled wincustomize and reinstalled it but the problem is the same, can anyone help me with this

There is a awful language problem with Fences 3.08.1.
In my case the upgrade changed the application's language from english to polish without asking.

It looks ugly, and there is no option for setting up the required language in the preferences, like going back to english in my case.

Moreover, the polish translation is terrible and does not follow polish standards.

Hi,

I have been using WindowBlinds 10 for about a month now and love it! One thing that drew me to it was the fact that the Stardock Design Team added a Windows 7 lookalike theme by default. However the Win8 theme doesn't look anything like Windows 8 or 8.1. Is there a theme that has the look of the Windows 8 & 8.1 titlebars etc.? Thanks!

Just installed on Win 7 home premium. Everything seems fine but there are no title bars visible. Placing the mouse in the upper left corner of the fence causes a white underline appear and the cursor to transform into a pointy finger. clicking opens a dialog window with "Rename Fence" as an option, but no keyboard input appears anywhere. Suggestions?

I don't even know if there is a solution, but I find this to be so frustrating. Here's what happens (and this is just one example of the problem)

I have a fence for business, and within that fence I have a "QuickBooks 2018" icon. If I launch that application, it obviously selects the icon first before it launches the app. Ok, so I do what I need to, close out of QuickBooks and I'm back on my desktop.

If I disable WindowBlinds, Visual Studio starts fine.
I've excluded devenv.exe - "Ignore this application and don't skin it". After re-activating WindowsBlinds and rebooting - VS still crashes on launch.

I turned a computer into a guinea pig.

For 20 months I used only a firewall, opera and firefox.

The browsers were stock and kept up to date.

The computer OS was not updated.

After the 20 months I scanned the whole computer with

What does this mean every time I post a reply too any thread I'm going to receive email from Stardock? I'm very active on the forums and don't need regular emails telling me I posted.

Hello,

Is it possible with the new fences v3 to have some fences with a label and some fences with no labels ?
It was possible with the first versions v1 on windows 7 but i don't succeed with v3.

If i show labels never i have no labels if i show always my fences with no label have a label field when i put my mouse on the fences.

I'm having trouble updating to version 3.08.1. I'm still stuck on 3.08. I've even used the "Purge Fences" app, but I'm still able to only stay on 3.08.

Windows 10 Pro, version 1709, OS Build 16299.125.

Everytime I start my PC I get the admin confirm popup as Fences is starting.
Im about to try to fully uninstall & reinstall Fences to see if that makes a difference.

Any other suggestions...?

I'm using Windows 7 x64 & I'm getting a weird shadow glitch/flickering at the right side of the start menu when I click on All Programs. After some experimentation I've noticed that if I turn off, 'Animate controls & elements in Windows' it goes away, but then I lose some animations. Now that I've noticed it, it's really annoying. I tried updating to the latest Nvidia drivers 390.77, but it still happens. I'm assuming this is a bug in Windowblinds 8.13. Does anyone know of a proper fix? ...
