Hi again!

 

I have been using some of Stardock's products for a good length of time now and have to say I love em! Especially Start 10 and WindowBlinds 10. I found out that Stardock and it's products along with this Wincustomize site has been around for quite a long time. I just had one question or concern. Is there a possibility that there is content on this site that is malicious and if yes what should I look out for? Thanks!

I use Fences 3.0.8.1 and Windows 10 (1709). It does not seem to be possible to create multiple (fences) desktop pages in dual monitor mode. Am I correct? If so, that would be a pity.

I've used Object Dock since 2005 and to me it is essential. Low and behold ALL my docks were suddenly out of alignment! Now I know how to fix them but that's a pain in the rear every time you load a dock you had all set up perfectly. Vertical and horizontal they were borked! So I fixed Alloy. Then Black Pixels. I wanted to use Sintrone so I was going about doing that when I noticed that the start panel was cut off on the left of that skin! Somehow or another my monitor setting had been messed wi...

Where 3d desktops have failed, this app has shined.  Best organizational/productivity tool since I discovered Trello.

Now my problem...

Given the different environments I'm in and roles I have to play, there are quite a few dashboards/launchpads I'd like to build using Fences.  I'm quickly finding that putting together screens of fences is becoming a little unruly.

Did something change in the categories of these forums? Because like... now I only have Galciv 3... and no separate section for AShes of the Singularity or the like... and yet there is a subcategory called Everything Else. 

Before I could click on the Galciv3 header and see recent posts, but only for GCs various subtrheads... now its everything.

I use ObjectDock a lot ever since Windows 7 and the issue on the title still persists on Windows 10 x64Bit. I already know it is not fully compatible with WinX, but I don't think it is a WinX problem, 'cause I used to have this issue on Win7 too. FYI the problem occurs every now and then, but it's so annoying!

For me, it is past time for Stardock to fix this and update this so old version of the software.

Another thing I can see is that ObjectDock interferes too much with Explorer.exe and ...

Hi,

I can not upload important updates into Desktop Gadget gallery!

My actions: Login -->  Go to the gadget page --> Edit Skin --> "Click here to chose file" --> Browse to folder with the .zip file and select it as always...

The result: message box: "You can't upload files of this type"  and nothing more...

I've used the different browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome and even Tor) and tried to upload updates many times during the last two days. But ...

After installing Fences 3.03 on Windows 10, every time while showing the desktop (by using Win+D or pressing show desktop button), Windows explorer crashes and then restarts.

We could observe the desktop is re-drawn and sometime there will be a dialog saying Fences cannot be loaded.

Hello, I am a long time user of Stardock software (more than a decade), but I think this is my first true feature request.  Hopefully, this makes sense.

I travel with a laptop, but when I'm home I dock it and use an eternal monitor and keyboard. I believe this to be a fairly common use case.  What I would like is for Fences to remember its configuration and adapt to both modes. When I undock, Fences adapts pretty well.  The change in resolution of the laptop seems to work ok.&n...

[Windows 10]

HOW do people use Fences if it's not 'always on top'? At least there should be a taskbar icon that shows all fences when clicked.

Can WindowsFX somehow help me use Fences?

So…what is a Polymorphic Virus? Quoting the technopedia:

Hola,uso Windows 10 pro. Cuando aplico algún cursor, se ve delante el original de Windows. Probe reinstalando pero ni modo. Todavía no lo compre, espero comentarios.

So I installed latest version of WB. When I run the app and switch to a new theme it process, then goes gray, then black, then takes me to the windows login screen and defaults to a second local user account that I don't use. I switch to the account I normally use and I just get a gray screen and then it drops me back to the login window again.

Any suggestions?

I have WIN 10 and I installed WB and when I start it and try and change the skin it shuts down my computer and restarts it and then my computer wont restart past the WIN 10 sign in screen...it just keeps looping back to the sign in screen over and over ..I had to start up in safe mode and uninstall WB to get it to go back to normal once uninstall it everything is fine again..when it crashed trying to change the skin it said something about NO debugger or something..please help

[This problem has been solved by re-installing manually.] 

[Win 10 pro] After a cold boot, all of a sudden - no fences - no icons. And no, they are not hidden. If I run Fences from the menu, Fences tells me that it seems like its not loaded and might need be re-installed. However Object Desktop Manager lists it as installed. Uninstalling it, merely removed it from the list of windows installed programs in control panel, but OJM still thinks that it is installed so I cannot re-install it....

Hi,

I have this problem when I set up the sorting of a fence by 'Last modified' / REverse Order, so that the lastest item added to the fence shows up in the bottom position.

 

The sorting revert to default for I do not know what reason. After reading a solution to this issue, I tried the solution to rename/ recreate a fence but to no avail.

 

I am running the latest version on a recently formatted/ clean state machine. (Win 10 64 bit Home)
