Does anyone know how to exclude Spotify?  It's some weird style of app that won't let me exclude it with some error message like "the system cannot access this file" because it's stored under \AppData\Local\Microsoft\WindowsApps - so Windowblinds won't let me exclude it.  And theming borks it.

Any ideas?

Having problems with my themes working in windowblinds 10 I upgraded from windowglinds 8  witch was working fine, but now the explorer window is white...the rest of the skin or theme is working (edges of the window, buttons, taskbar, start menu) minus the inside, which is white ...please help me get this working again..have a screen shot but couldn't figure out how to insert it on here...

If you have compatibility issues with WindowBlinds and an application or game, please do let us know in this thread so we can investigate it and hopefully resolve the problem.

Please make sure you are running the latest version of WindowBlinds first and that the problem exists with a theme included with WindowBlinds vs a downloaded one. 

Please provide as much detail as you can, screenshots of the problem, information on the application itself, how to reproduce the problem and if...

So, has anyone seen the new Netflix show of German origin called DARK?

Trying to install JRiver v220108 on a Windows v1703/15063.296 results rapidly flashing installation window which loops indefinitely and thus installation fails. This is due to a software conflict with Stardock Windowblinds v10.62. Problem has propably something to do with some UI element.

Using JRiver Mediacenter while Windowblinds is installed causes JRiver Mediacenter UI to freeze (creating dialog boxes fails). Problem does not exists if Windowblinds is uninstalled.

Recently noticed some missing files folder and .exe's on my desktop. The onl;y way I was able to find them was going to the Desktop folder through Windows Explorer. Why they are hidden by Fences I haven't a clue. I fiddled with attributes and uninstalled then reinstalled but the same fences with the same issues pop back up after reinstalling. So I uninstalled deleted all Fences folders I could find in Program Files and App Data and reinstalled again but once again my old CORRUPTED fences appear ...

I just purchased the objectdock app because I was hoping to coordinate it with my deskscapes and newly acquired CursorsFx software but going through settings and everything, I do not see the options to change up the colors, textures or even work the transparencies. This was the only reason I bought this... To create a look and feel that would be close to that of the dreams and cursors I plan to use whenever I wish to change them. I like themes, so being able to download different objectdock them...

Hi,

I have upgraded my Fences 2.0 to 3.0 to work with Windows 10 my I am having a glitch.

Whenever I hit "Win + D" to show the Desktop the service explorer.exe seems to crash and restart:

Taskbar freezes;Black screen comes upDesktop shows again but emptyTaskbar comes back emptyDesktop icons come backTaskbar icons come backFences come backI uninstalled Fences to try "Win + D" again and no errors appear, so clearly Fences is interfering and causing this issue. Could you please a...

Hallo.

 

I would like to exclude some Metro apps from skinning.

But since the exe is not accesible anymore by many of those I can not do that.

 

What about adding a button that makes a crosshair appear with wich you can click on the desired app or program to select it instead of looking for the exe?

Hi All, ive been using windowblinds on and off for years, never had any real issues with it until windows 10 creators update, at first I just got the black screen with no interactivity even when pulling up taskmanager, updated to 10.6 and now the colours from the theme apply to the windows but not the icons/buttons ie close maximise etc, tried rebooting various uninstall reinstall even put windows inTest mode to allow running of unsigned code and apps but still no joy, occasionally on a reb...

After being away for several years (mostly through Windows 8 and then into 10) I'm back. I'd been using Classical Shell which has been discontinued so decided to look at Stardock again. I had two options for Object Desktop from my old install - Object Desktop Ultimate and Object Desktop Upgrade from Stand Alone. They were both $19.99 to renew so I kinda closed my eyes and picked. CursorFX worked perfectly in Windows 7. Recently did a new install of Windows 10 and discovered that the selected pointer from Cursor FX disappeared behind the windows menu. Completely uninstalled it using Revo Uninstaller. Reinstalled the new trail version 2.16 from Stardock and now I am unable to activate any of the cursors from CursorFX. Only the default Windows cursor is activated. ¿?

Yesterday I decided to treat myself to the new version of Office. Having used a corporate version of Office 2010 for the last few years I quite fancied my own copy - Office Pro 2016.

To go with this, I did a clean install of Windows 10. I have installed all the other programs I need, and, omitted games I no longer play. Everything is now squeaky clean.

I have not installed any skinning programs - at all. I no longer see what I need them for. Windows is perfectly adequate for the task.
