Hey guys,

I've been trying to figure out how to change the font in Windows 10 search boxes: the one that is used in the file explorer and, if you have a start menu replacement like Start10,  the 'Search Programs and Files' box.

I know Windowblinds can change the font, but I would like to be able to alter the font independently of the skin that I am using at a given point in time. Most specifically, I would like to be able to switch between 'normal' and italic fonts.

After installing Fences 3.03 on Windows 10, every time while showing the desktop (by using Win+D or pressing show desktop button), Windows explorer crashes and then restarts.

We could observe the desktop is re-drawn and sometime there will be a dialog saying Fences cannot be loaded.

Thanks in advance for any help....

downloaded window Blinds, running win 10 current ver.

My goal is a very dark contrast theme... tried to customize the colors in Blinds, but to no avail, background still white...

then downloaded Dark Alpha theme, looked exactly what I wanted... but still white background?

Is there some master switch I am missing to allow Blinds to control screen colors?

Would be great if we could get an actual classic color swatch to come up for choosing colors or even just the ability to input rgb or hex / web colors.

I don't know how common this is with dogs but my dog, an Entlebucher mountaint dog, has a fairly complex moral system when it comes to food.  Namely, she seems to have an internal rule set on what it is okay for her to take food.

Here's an example of my dog's morality in action.  If my wife brings me a plate of cheese and crackers, she can set it right in front of me and the dog.  I could get up, leave the room and come back without fear that she would take it.  However,...

I am using Fences. Very useful, but sometimes it does not work correctly. The icons do not stay in their Fence when I drag the Fence, and I need to restart to correct the problem.

What to do??

Hi Fences Team,

                          I have Stardock Fences Version 3.0.5.12 , and now getting this error today:

"Fences has detected that Explorer was not closed properly error

As a precaution, Fences has been temporarily disabled.

To re-enable Fences, right click your desktop and choose "Enable Fences"."

 

I tries several times, and screen refreshes and get the error repeatedly.

I rebooted after a power outage today and all my fences and icons (bar one fence) had disappeared from the desktop. I tried double clicking but that just affected the one remaining fence. How can I get the others back?

This beta addresses an Insider Creators issue where a user would have to log out to apply the shadow color when automatically using window border color.

I have a laptop in a docking station connected to 2 other monitors.  So I have 3 monitors that I use as extended, (one big monitor).  I have my fences set up so each screen has certain fences.  When I remove the laptop from the dock, all the fences go to the one laptop screen, which was expected.  But when I reconnect to the dock the fences go back to different screens, but not necessarily the correct screen.  For example the laptop now shows screen 3's fences and screen...

Steam uninstalled fences for me. I reinstalled it but it doesn't work. It gives me the option to enable fences, but if I click on enable fences, it just closes the right click menu and doesn't do anything.

Also, is there anyway of linking my steam to this account so I can download the non-steam version of Fences? If so, please enlighten me.

Hey, I've had an update for Windows Blinds sitting bugging me for weeks that I had to uninstall my existing install, restart PC and it'd then install the new version... Which it did. But it's asking me to activate which is failing using every method

Well I sent feedback to MS today.  Edge is 100% broken on my laptop after the latest update.  All common remedies fail reboots, browser cleaning, and re-setting.  Nothing works.  Edge can no longer even display webpages I use.

 

Gotta love MS and forced updates. 

I told them I'm now forced to use Google Chrome.  I do not like it but I now have no other choice.

Hi all,

Working on a new skin myself finally. For the taskbar buttons I have noticed there is a strange outer glow around buttons I hover over. For the life of me I can not find where these images or colors are found. I already changed the actual taskbar button image myself. 

As you can see there is a red'ish glow around the icon with a V. On some of the other icons it changes color. Any help is greatly appreciated.
