Windows 10: Locked Desktop, can't drag / move Icons
Hey Guys,
I have some problems with dragging Icons around my Desktop while running Deskscapes.
Installed Version of Deskscapes is 8.51 and the applied Video is in .wmv format, Windows 10 Education.
Any help would be greatly appreciated...![]()

Overlapping Icons
on the desktop the icons are seperated: see below (I hope this picture insert works)
in the fence they overlap: see below
(a group of icons were selected to more easily see the icon width relationships.)
How do we fix this? Is it a configuration issue? Is it a registry modification? (tried that but didn't work) Or maybe it is just a bug!![]()

"Recent Things" folder
I made the mistake of letting Fences create the "Recent Things" folder after installation. Now I cannot move anything out of that folder! Suggestions?

Winstep and hurricane IRMA
Just a small heads up.
Although there is still a lot of uncertainty, it looks like Cat 5 hurricane Irma might be heading towards southern and center Florida.
Winstep is hosted at the Hivelocity data center in Tampa, FL, and while they have really robust facilities (reinforced concrete buildings built to withstand the severest of weather, UPS systems, diesel generators and fuel for several days) and are making preparations for the worst, there is still a possibility that connectivity...![]()

Personally i watched:
12 Monkeys: not the best show ever and on occasion bit of a míndfuck, but overall i enjoyed and look forward to second season. I am sure many people would hate it, pick plotholes and whatonot and granted, it has its weaknesses, but its a show that makes you actually think, what is going on and guess, what might happen next. That is always a good thing in my book.

Youtube video as background
I would like to use one of the many YouTube videos looping videos at a background, I have used an application to download 4K video loops from YouTube but they download as MP4 or MKV and it seems that DeskScapes 8 can only use .avi and a .wmv or a few others. I looked in to converting the file to those formats but they are really large files and seem to crash when converting. any suggestions folks?![]()

Fences not retaining settings when changing Folders
I love Fences and use them exhaustively. I have them on both Windows 7 and Windows 10 machines. I have one major annoyance I hope someone can help me solve. I prefer most of my Fences to have a "View" selection of Detailed. Likewise, I have a spacing I like for the columns at the top. However, whenever I "Chose a Different Folder" Fences goes to an Icon view. I cannot find any setting to over rule this behavior. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I have been using fences for a long time. Up until windows 10 came out, fences has been an awesome program to use. Ever since I went to windows 10, fences is really slow and has lots of issues and its just becoming a pain to deal with, but I love fences.
1. You cannot double click an icon inside of a fenced area, it will not launch the application it will only hide the desktop.
Workaround: Left click the icon once, wait a second for fences t...![]()

version 3.03 - folder portal navigation
I have v3.03 and navigation 'checked' for folder portals.
I am under the impression that I can navigate within a folder portal. That is, I can open a sub-folder within a portal and return to the primary folder etc. Am I incorrect in thinking this is possible? I did notice that I had an arrow next to the title on a folder portal but clicking that using any combination had no effect. My only solution was to select 'different folder' to navigate ...![]()

Black screen after applying.
So I installed latest version of WB. When I run the app and switch to a new theme it process, then goes gray, then black, then takes me to the windows login screen and defaults to a second local user account that I don't use. I switch to the account I normally use and I just get a gray screen and then it drops me back to the login window again.
