Im using multi virtual desktops with Fences - it's a great way to be organized and productive.

A feature request though - it would be great to be able to name the virtual deskop... As you swipe between them, a name could briefly overlay the desktop.  Also have the option of putting that name in a minimal bar docked to the top or side.

I have all my fences rolled up, but when I run a full screen game at a lower resolution it sometimes cause the my fences to not return to the correct position when I return to the desktop. This only seem to affect the fences at the bottom of the screen. Throwing together a quick mock-up in Paint to illustrate.

Hey I wanted to list a few issues CursorFX has when using the new Windows10 Creator's Update.

Longtime Fences user here, but first time serious frustration.   I'm using 3.04 on Win7 64.


In Windows you can set a certain view for a folder and all its subfolders. If I set a folder layout inside a Windows folder it doesn't reflect it in the Fences portal view. Hi,

have Fences version 3.0.3 with W10. Fences worked very ok till yesterday. I am not aware of any changes to my W10 system. Today "Fences does not appear to be loaded you may need to reinstall Fences". Pls help.

If you have compatibility issues with WindowBlinds and an application or game, please do let us know in this thread so we can investigate it and hopefully resolve the problem.

Please make sure you are running the latest version of WindowBlinds first and that the problem exists with a theme included with WindowBlinds vs a downloaded one. 

Please provide as much detail as you can, screenshots of the problem, information on the application itself, how to reproduce the problem and if...

I don't know why this has to be such an issue for me. I have the hardest time getting a moderator or 2 to read their private message I've sent to them regarding spam on my skins comment section. It's been close to 4 days now since I sent those messages and yet no action has been taken. I realize that I am not one of the most popular members here on this site, but I do believe in fairness. Please excuse me if I seem impatient.

If I have sorting turned on the is an issue with the icons on the desktop outside my fences. The attached image shows the top left space on the desktop. Whichever type of sorting I use I always end up with two icons overlayed. If I switch of sorting this automatically resets so there isn't an overlap.

In the configuration it describes that you can move a Fence to the edge of the screen and it will automatically become a roll up Fence. This only works for me if I try and dock with the top edge of my desktop. I can dock Fences to the left and right side but they don't automatically become roll up Fences. I cannot dock a Fence on the bottom of my desktop which is where I have my taskbar - it simply slides behind the taskbar until I reach the Fence title and is not docked or a...

Hi,

Since Nvidia updated their drivers to version 38* and upwards I get a bug in my browser of choice, PaleMoon: the titlebar starts to flicker (disappears and reappears) as I move cursor over sites displayed in browser window. This has never been a problem with previous drivers up to 378.92, which I am using currently to avoid the problem.

In my troubleshooting I did the following:

I got fences recently, and I have been really enjoying it, however, I have run into one big problem that is really disturbing me and I can't seem to find a solution. When I set WB 10.5, 10.6, 10.6.1beta... it sets the background color to the WB "MRS Glass" color.  When I restart Windows, the desktop background color changes back to Windows background color and ignores WB.  I can reset it with WindowBlinds, but very frustrating.  This doesn't happen with the older versions of WindowBlinds.  I know I can change the background color in "Personalize", but that's what I have WindowBlinds for.  I use lots of different size wallpapers, so w...
