iconpackager - bootloop after changing icon package (Win 10 64bit)
Ok, I decided to change my icon pack today and ran IconPackager. After applying the icons I continued working, but some icons hadn't changed correctly. I'd had that before on Win7 and usually they were fine after a reboot.
So I rebooted. And hit a bootloop. This was looping after the windows logo screen, at the logon UI screen, where the screen colour matches whatever the wallpaper colour is and the little dots are circling round, just prior to where the login screen appears.

LogonStudio freezes when trying to load a new image
I have LogonStudio 1.7.0 installed. I went to wincustomize.com and downloaded some new images. The issue I'm running into is that every time I try to load a new skin LogonStudio freezes with a message a the bottom saying "Loading thumbnails..." and won't do anything else. I don't know of any other way to load a new image. I've tried using the "Load" button in the program, I've tried drag-and-drop, and I've tried double-clicking on the the .logonvista file. DesktopX for Windows 10???
Hello, I wonder why DesktopX has been abandoned by Stardock. It's not compatible with Windows 10.
There are compatible apps, like WX Smart Desktop, but I upgraded my Stardock account especially for this feature. Now it seems that I cannot use it.
Anyone has any idea how to accomplish this task: Put a webpage on my desktop![]()

Xiandi Needs Our Help!

Our good friend, Xiandi has informed me that her pancreatic cancer is back. It's moved to her lungs.
It's stage 4, which means it's not curable. The only thing left to do is treat it to extend her life as long as possible. She will start chemotherapy again next week sometime, and they will continue that until they can't do it any more. Her doctor said she has at most 5 years to live.

[Feature Request] Color fences according to current Windows accent color
One cool thing about Windows 10 is that you can tell the system to automatically pick the Windows accent color (the color used for the taskbar, start menu, window borders, window title bars, highlighting, etc) according to the current desktop background. So, for example, if the desktop background is a picture of red roses, the accent color will be some shade of red to match it. This has the effect of creating essentially a dynamic theme for the desktop.
