As the title says I will be glad when this year is over, evrything that could go wrong has gone wrong, firstly we lost Stephens mum (mom) on 2nd January 2016, then 2 of Stephen's brothers were in Hospital , then in may this year the 16th May Stephen ended up in Hospital for about 2 and a half months with a broken ankle then I eneded up in Hospital with heart problems , and now my Uncle Danny passed away of a massive heart attack he died at home he had only just steppe...![]()

Clock went missing after recent windows 10 update

Why Didn't Stardock Think Of This
Okay, just kidding. Stardock can't do/think of everything; however, this nifty little tool from Nurgo Software is pretty cool.... not to mention somewhat useful.
Yup, TidyTabs adds tabbed browsing to Windows Explorer and programs such as Word, Notepad and others.
While the program does detect tabbable programs, there is a whitelist and blacklist to either add your own or remove those you don't need or use.

Some fences gone missing
Hi!
In few last i find out that one of my fences gone missing!
I can see that on snapshot few days back.
I've checked that is not on different page (not even on use). I can see page on listing
where looking for destinations on new link..(see attachment).
It also let me use same name for fence??
I have made lot of changes since snapshot that i mention earlier (don't want lose them )
Is there command that i collect all fences to same p...![]()

DesktopX for Windows 10???
Hello, I wonder why DesktopX has been abandoned by Stardock. It's not compatible with Windows 10.
There are compatible apps, like WX Smart Desktop, but I upgraded my Stardock account especially for this feature. Now it seems that I cannot use it.
Anyone has any idea how to accomplish this task: Put a webpage on my desktop![]()

How Stupid Is This?
Yup, you read it right, Apple created a one-handed pop out keyboard for both left and right handed users, yet it is locked away because Apple does not want people using it.

Annoying behavor or is it me?

I have a recurring issue that perhaps one of you knows the answer to. Once in a while I will have number of files in either a fence or on the desktop that I wish to delete.
I do so by selecting one file and then using the CTRL key I add files one by one to select them and then I drag them all over to the trash bin. Quite often in addition to this working the way I would imagine it should work (in other words it deletes the files I have chosen) I find that a group of previously sele...![]()

Can't add a comment to a skin
I'm trying to add a comment to a Winstep theme posted on the Winstep section here:

Fences brighter at the bottom of the screen
I have the latest paid version of Fences and the fences towards the top of the screen are dark. They get lighter the further down they go until the bottom ones are fully bright. I don't like this. I want them all the same color but I can't find a setting to adjust this. How can I set them all to the same color?![]()

Switching resolutions
I have enabled the Store my Fences' position on a per-screen-resolution' basis option and I am running two different multiple monitor setups. I have 2 4K 2560x1440 at work and 2 1920x1080 at home. When I switch from Work to Home the fences scale appropriately and re-align to the proper window positions. When I come back to the 4K setup, the positions are correct but the fence size is larger. I.e. I have 4 fences 1x4 in size and when I switch back to 4K, the fences...![]()

Don't install Nvidia Driver 375.57. Nvidia's rushing to put out hotfix.
The new Nvidia driver 375.57 will cause many different issues with W10. Don't, repeat DON'T install it.
"If you run Nvidia's Geforce Experience software, you know that it is the primary tool on many machines to update drivers.

I´d like to know if I am the only one perceiving general slugishness of Fences3/3.0.3 under Windows 10 64x.
I have 4K display, and around 100 icons, no folder portals. The lag between clicking on the icon, and its actual selection, ranges between 1 and 2 seconds.
When I switch Fences off, everything is instant, and smooth. With Fences on, selecting, moving, or boxing icons gets very choppy, and slow.
My CPU is i4770, Windows is freshly installed, and this is the ...![]()

Need a separate logon for forums?
Is there a problem with the Forums? I can login to WC no problem, but when I click on the 'Forums' button, it takes me to an odd looking forums screen and asks for my login info again. Never used to do that. I type in my creds and get a 'server not found' error with an error from ABP saying there was a cross scripting problem. Then I have to select 'reload problem script' to get to the forums.![]()

Can icon spacing inside a fence be controlled independent of the icon spacing that Windows applies to icons that are not inside a fence
After having upgraded to Fences 3.0.1, I am having problems with the horizontal and vertical space around icons that reside inside a fence. I'm using Windows 10 Pro.
I understand how to change icon spacing in the Windows registry, and after having tweaked that to create the desired horizontal and vertical spacing around icons on my desktop that are not inside a fence, I am dismayed to see that icons inside a fence do not respect those settings. The status of the Object Dock SDK(s) in 2016
So... I have a number of questions on the subject of the OD SDK.
First, let me say I have had fun using the OD SDK, and have had no real trouble (aside from the data typing issue mentioned below) with it for years now!
Currently, I am using the "ObjectDock Docklet SDK v1.0" available from the link http://storage.stardock.com/files/ObjectDock_Docklet_SDK_v1.0.zip
Note that I consider it to have a bug in the definition of the final function in the DockletSDK.cpp file [WritePrivateProfil...![]()

So I like Fences because I can actually use my desktop, see a nice background image but still easily activeate my icons. Basically what Fences is for.
However on Windows 10 Dutch (though I assume this is not unique to my Dutch version), when I use Ctrl d to return to the desktop, the "hide fences" (other than the excluded from quick hide icons) feature is turned off (so all the fences are visisble again). Since MS removed the desktop from the ALT TAB cycle AND removed the "button" on the extr...![]()
