I do realize that there are perhaps as many ways of using desktop (and therefore fences) as users. I don't know if you keep wish list for possible future features and or modifications, but here I go:

Right now the fences which are rolled up will automatically roll down as soon as I hover over them with a mouse. Due to the way I am using the fences, this is not necessarily a good thing. I think that better solution would be if the fence would roll down after a little delay (adjustable, if ...

There was a new update that came out about maybe a week ago and ever since I've updated to whatever the build it was, I still keep getting the update pop up after every computer startup.  It's a very minor inconvenience but one that does annoy me.  Any solutions would be appreciated.

I have used Fences off and on for many years. I finally decided to leave behind the last free version (1.6?) and go for the whole Object Desktop. The day was spent happily configuring and trying things out, and arranging all my goodies with my latest and greatest Fences.

Hello,

Just wondering if there's any way to tell Fences to 'lock' the folder portal so it isn't a navigation window?

I'd rather have the folders that I double-click open in the default file manager than in the Fence.  Am I missing a setting?

The 'Folder Portals' page in the Configure Fences panel is populated purely by how-to links, it seems, with no real settings visible.

It seems like it would be useful to have this configurable on a fence-by-fence ...

In the early days I made it quite clear that I did not like Win 10 and that I'd stick with Win 8.1 because it is fast, stable and reliable.  In fact, I'm still using 8.1 on my main rig and am happy with the choice to remain with it.  However, I have Win 10 0n my HP 2-in1 and like it much better now that I've tweaked it to suit my likes and needs.  In some cases I used 3rd-party apps to achieve the desired result, but often times I could adjust things in 'Settings...

 MS update my Windows 10 to new evaluation copy: Build 14915.rs_prerelease.160826-1902 since I on the fast ring.  Now Fences will not running because of error telling me "Windows Explorer don't shutdown correctly.  Go to my desktop and click on restart Fences"  When I click on restart Fences then my system starts to lockup and couple minutes later I get my OS back but still no Fences.  I tried to reload Fences and again no working Fences.  Right now my Fences ar...

Are both of these shortcuts correct? One has the old WB icon, the other has the new icon.  Does Screen10.exe load the service? Thanks.

How can I fill in icon images in older sets which are missing the newer OS icons.  It seems that many icons have duplicate images in the original Win 10 icon set, so how do I know which one to replace? Do I replace them all? Are there any differences? I'm having the hardest time with live folders

Is there any tutorial for creating complete icon sets for Win 10?

No one, as yet, has created an icon package for the new version of IP. Is Icon Developer still a viable program for this...

I'm trying to add a comment to a Winstep theme posted on the Winstep section here:

Unfortunately every time I click the Submit button the page simply refreshes (a # character being added to the URL in the address bar) and my comment doesn't get posted. I'm properly logged in and I don't see any error message. Tried it in Firefox and in Chrome with the same results.

Running Win10 anniversary update (1607): In a multimonitor configuration (for me, SurfaceBook + external 4k display), I often see a different blurred image under my fences than the current desktop wallpaper. This seems to be the different wallpaper that is on my secondary display or a prior wallpaper (haven't figured out the pattern).

If I right click the desktop and select next image, it is fixed, but eventually comes back. I've tried the 3.03 beta and still see this.

Hi

I have manages to make folder like fences windows - I see a title bar behind the dock and when my mouse moves over it it 'rolls up' and shows the content.

When I double click on the menu bar it does the opposite, the window 'rolls-dows' to show the content (which is invisible behind the dock).

I don't know how I managed to make it 'roll-up' the first time as oppsoed to Roll-down... I can I do that , so that I have a folder-like set-up? Thanks
