WOM just sent me this...and if you have an HP printer, please take note: "Hewlett-Packard is installing software in its printers that will prevent the machine from printing if it detects anything but an HP brand cartridge, rejecting even refilled HP cartridges." (Link above).

Hello,

I bet I'm missing something, but is it possible to have the fences remain open until you click or double click to roll them up?  (I find the auto roll-up feature gets in the way when I want to search / scroll for a file within a fence).

I am running Fences 3.0.1 on Windows 10 Pro 64 bit with 2 monitors.  I have my fences docked at the top of the screen.

Since the big W10 annual 'gift' update I cannot display different images on my 3 monitors. This was a rare occasional problem before, however a new build and install made it mostly go away. Now when I click apply to Monitor 2 Nothing happens. Nothing.

Any ideas? Anyone else have this error?

Hi All,

These days I am seeing less and less and less of new WindowBlinds (Master skin or otherwise).  Most are now-a-days updates of old master skins and there are only 2 or 3 good skinners left...Are we looking at close to the end of WindowBlinds era?

Please give us an option to wrap around desktop pages.

What:

If you are on the most right desktop page and you try to go to the right desktop page (i.e. Alt + Right), you'll end up on the most left desktop page. (And vice versa)

Why:

You can use one command to cycle through all your desktop pages. No need to think "am I on the left or the right page?". No repositioning of fingers.

Especially if you just have two desktop pages (i.e.: "Program shortcuts" and "Data"), you can use...

So... I have a number of questions on the subject of the OD SDK.

First, let me say I have had fun using the OD SDK, and have had no real trouble (aside from the data typing issue mentioned below) with it for years now!

Currently, I am using the "ObjectDock Docklet SDK v1.0" available from the link http://storage.stardock.com/files/ObjectDock_Docklet_SDK_v1.0.zip

Something strange just happened. Suddenly all my stardock apps lost their activation and I had to reenter my keys to reactivate. After reactivating WindowFX burn effects are in white only, and no longer their orange flame color. Reinstalled the app, and still no joy. Any suggestions on a fix?????

Considering renewing my subscription and or updating to fences 3 if this is not available in old fences? Can't seem to find any option for it. Would like my Games shortcuts/icons to be big icons and others fences with medium or small icons etc. 

I'm using windows 7 x64 and Fences 2.13.

After the Windows 10 anniversary update certain programs like Outlook and Microsoft word office 360 lost the ability to change the page color from white to an  other color as default. This never happened before. I then installed window blinds 10 edited a pre-set skin and applied it to the desktop, nothing happened. There was no change to either my applications or the Windows OS shell. It is as if Windows system colors are locked and not allowing any attempt by whatever means to change them....

I have dual monitors, with the following config:

 



 

Whenever I download a file, like in Chrome, and target the desktop. The file ends up in the upper left corner of monitor 2, instead of in the first available position of monitor 1. Is there any way to change/fix this behavior?

Since installing Fences I have frequently encountered the following problem:

all open program windows suddenly disappear, and do not show on the Taskbar, suggesting that the program has been closedby using the Task Manager, it becomes evident that the programs are still running, but are simply not visible any morethey cannot be accessed using the Alt-Tab keythey can be accessed by maximizing them from within the Task Manager, but they are just as likely to disappear again.Has anyone else enco...

Huge update: 753 Mb patch. The contents (not all) can be seen here:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/12387/windows-10-update-history

It doesn't fix the issue where drives randomly disappear from Windows or the SSD freezing issues that some users are experiencing.

 

Problems: Some people are reporting that the update appears to be stuck at 45% or 94%. Not really: Just slowed...

First: sorry for my english.

It is possible (and how) that i see my tabbed dock every time??
Its hiding every time, and i can see only the Tabs, but not the bigger Program Field. (like the quicklaunch dock)

The only i can configure is de-hiding with mouse-over ... or klick on a tab.

I like to have all my icons arranged alphabetically. I do this in each fence after I create it, but is there a way to configure for this to happen by default for newly created fences? I can't see any way in the "Sorting and Organising" page, or am I missing something?

For those who have the problem (that exists for a ong time now), that icon packager does not change all icons or live folders do not have the correct icon.

After days of experimenting with registry and gpedit and deleteing the iconcache i found a very simple solution:

Boot in safe mode, make your changes with iconpackager and reboot.

 

But there is still one question:

Why is stardock not capable to solve this problem by making changes in the proram code?

I have a Taskbar Toolbar linked to the programs menu so I can access programs with a normal fly-out menu. I also have 'Programs' as a menu shortcut in Start 10.

Neither of these will open until I've had 'This PC' open. Sometimes they will only open when 'This PC' is open.

Does anyone know what might be causing this odd behaviour?
