Just wanted to help anyone desperately searching for this: after installing the anniversary update, Windows only showed a black screen with a cursor after login. Even Ctrl+Alt+Del did not work, as that produced an error popup instead.

Uninstalling WindowBlinds in Safe mode fixes this problem. I will now try the latest version, hopefully that will work as well.

The only question I have is: can WindowBlinds be bypassed somehow during boot? Considering Microsoft's current update policy, s...

When I use a Folder Portal and make double-click to a folder in it, open the windows file explorer and not in Folder Portal.

I checked in Folder Portal Menu "Allow navigation" but doesn't works.

 

Have anyone an idea what's wrong. Use Windows 10 and it's up-to-date, buy Fences 3.01

Hi,

I have a top of the range laptop (i7-6820HK & Nvidia GeForce GTX 980M) and have recently upgraded to Desktop Objects.

However, I find that with WindowFX activated the GUI becomes very sluggish and occasionally appears to jump, skipping parts of the animation.  Yet, I can run different computer games without having any such graphical performance issues.

Now I expected a little performance hit but not so much that it would affect the user experience such that when activated, ...

I know that on an icon-by-icon basis, you can tell Fences to not quick-hide certain icons. But as icons come and go from my desktop, that's not something I'll ever keep up with. So, is there a quick way to set up Fences such that quick-hide will hide only the fences and leave the desktop icons visible?

I'm guessing soundpacks are not coming to Windows 10 since it has been so long.  But can we at least have some way of extracting them so we can use them?  It sucks not being able to match sounds to a theme.

I recently updated Windows 10 to the anniversary update but since then my WindowBlinds does not work.

When I try and apply a skin I get te:

WINDOWBLINDS DOES NOT APPEAR TO BE INSTALLED CORRECTLY ON YOUR MACHINE. WOULD YOU LIKE TO TRY AND FIX THIS NOW?

And when I click yes, it doesn't fix anything

I have already restsrted after install. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling and get the same thing

Live Mail was working perfectly yesterday but no longer.  My research indicates MS has decided to cripple the program so that I'm forced to move to the Windows 10 Mail app.  No thanks!  I have Outlook 2016 so decided to move to that.  I try to run the export function in Live Mail and it says there is no default mail program.  I check and Outlook is the default program.  I search the error message online and there's n MS article on how to fix it.  I down...

I was customizing my icons and when I would apply them they would be applied to the wrong thing. Eventually I figured out that for some reason 1 of the icons couldn't be found during the application/save process even though i was able to browse to it and add it to the package. Might be a good idea to verify all icons are present when saving/applying the package and throw up an error if there is an issue.
