I tried the anniversary update. Tried it for a week straight after a clean install of Windows 10. My computer slows to a crawl with the update. So how do I AVOID having Windows update to the anniversary update? I would love to turn off automatic updates all together, but I haven't found out how without using a 3rd party solution. Win 10: slow boot & no desktop icons on startup
Hello.
I have a problem with fences 2 and 3 on Windows 10 fresh install.
Fences are loaded 5-10-15 seconds after desktop is shown during startup.
Another problem is that icons which are on the desktop but not in fences also are not shown before fences would load.

I am running Windows 10 x64 Pro 1607 build 14393.51, with WindowBlinds 10.07, Start10 1.11 and WindowFX 6.02.
Certain applications start and the outer frame displays, but the frame is not filled for about 5 - 7 seconds. This is most noticeable with the configuration applications for Start10 and WindowFX. As I have not seen any other reports of this I assume I have done something I shouldn't have. Can you tell what I should do to get back to a reasonable display time?

Disable your car's keyless entry system
As if the phony emissions testing wasn't enough? That 'keyless' entry fob? Not very secure, it turns out. In fact, it's eminently hackable...
Volkswagen does have an 'immobilizer' built in, but it isn't perfect...so, your car could be broken into, and maybe that's the device we saw being used on Jeeps?
Anyway, the older (1998) HT2 chips were easily hackable, too.

Vertical black bars in Chrome in VXP 2010 Masterskin
After installing this skin Chrome has a flickering, intermittent vertical black bar on the left side of its windows. It is pretty distracting. I can work around it by installing a skin for Chrome but then I am not getting the full value of my Masterskin. I have tried disabling hardware acceleration but it made no difference. Can anyone help?![]()

i have the problem, that on my Windows 10 i3-Machine NVIDIA GTX 950 (it´s newer) works Object Dock well, but on my other Windows 10 Machine i5 GTX 750 the first Dock on my primary monitor works very slow (zoom in/zoom out/autohide is slow). Depends it on my graphiccard or what could be the problem? After i have recognized that on my i5 it works very slow, I have modified on my i5 PC the performance options (zoom in/zoom out/autohide) on instant, but i would like to k...![]()

Icon packager not working correctly
With IP 10 and Windows 10, the program does not want to change all the filetype icons that i want - for ex.
jpg, gif, png - associated with XnView now,
mp3, m3u.. - associated with AIMP
I tried to Rebuild Icon cache, reboot, run as Administrator.. etc. Nothing helps.![]()
