I was just seeing how bad the fires are in Alberta,  Canada. I hope my good friend Ken Crooks is ok.

I'm certain we have other friends and family in Canada, I pray that all can get away from this awful event!

I just installed fences on a new computer running Windows 8.1 Pro. When I move a fence to the top of my screen the title/name bar moves to the bottom of the fence. Where is the setting to make the name stay at the top? See the screenshot at:

I have upgraded to Windows 10 and ObjectDock 2.2.0.  Everything is working.  Is there a was to stop ObjectDock creating an icon fro programs run from the start menu or desk that are not currently in the dock?

Folds like a book, lighter than the weight requiring an FAA license (less than 250 grams)…your own paparazzi and faithful puppy.

This is truly cool…even the holes for air are too small to allow adult fingers to be hurt.

It hovers and follows or leads…you can play a sort of frisbee game with it…a $600 frisbee, that is.

I just purchased ObjectDocks. All good until when I connected my external monitor to my laptop and then my laptop went sluggish, CPU went up to 100% (Explorer occupied half and WindowsBlind took the other), the second monitor and main screen refresh was extremely slow. I unplugged the HDMI cable and everything was back to normal. So unless, there is a fix, I think I am going to ask for my money back.

 

Any suggestions?

I have no filters turned on, and there are no skins at all listed under explore windowblinds.  There are none on the sidebar for popular windowblinds for yesterday, last 30 days, or all time.  There is a full list under Top Windowblinds skinners.  But when you click on one of their names there still no skins.  It is like the entire database of skins is gone.

Getting unreadable menu strips in Corel X6 applications. Attached are screenshots of with and without Window Blinds running.

I use Corel a lot so this is a show stopper for me. I've tried looking at themes settings in Window Blinds and can not find anything to help correct this. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

Have been thinking the unthinkable lately.  Just pondering the purchase of a Mac desktop machine.

Can Leopard or whatever they're running these days be customized in the same manner as Win machines can with Windowblinds and etc?

Full UI customization?  Are there equivalents to Winstep, Windowblinds, Fences, Icon Packager, etc?

 

Just curious.

First off, find yer own damned expletive to fill in where the stars are.... I'm too tired and fechen lazy after the absolute *******  of a day I've had.

 

AAARRRHHHH!!!!!  Fechen Windows 10.  If it were human I'd have fechen strangled it hours ago.

Anyway, getting right to the point, I was damn sick and tired of Win 10 procrastinating, whether or not it'd move, copy or delete files and/or folders as requested.  And when it had decided, sometimes ...

I am just wondering were are all the golden oldies gone , I have a list of some names, and would be interested in knowing where they are and what they are doing with themselves and hopefully they will come back home to WC , and if you folks can think of any names to add to Where are they now thread please feel free to add them , How ever I do know of some members have moved away or have passed away ....

Is there any way to turn off Auto Arrange in Fences? Sometimes it is good, but sometimes it make my organization difficult.

Does your laptop or tablet run out of battery while it’s supposed to be asleep?

You can find out why thanks to a fairly obscure but relatively new feature in Windows.

Step 1: Open a command prompt in adminstrative mode

Step 2: Go to a temp directory (like cd\temp)

Step 3: Type powercfig /SleepStudy

This will create a file in the current directory.  Open that file in your web browser and you will find out why.

We are trying to get support and/or purchasing assistance for Fences in a corporate environment with virtual computers. I have tried the support form...no reply. I have phoned the corporate sales guy, Matt Birch and left messages...no reply.
