I am brand new to WindowsBlind, first thing I am on Windows 10.  All I am looking for is a Dark Theme (Black background/White Text).  I know there is the contrast Theme but it is so ugly.

Mainly I have a Windows 10 Pro Tablet I read and use in bed, and the White just kills my eyes besides making the spouse upset with the light.  Edge has a Dark Theme, Office has a sorta Dark theme.  As I like how the start menu works, I don't want to use Start 10 and when I look at the...

My mother called me today and told me that her PC was locked and all files displayed as wave files or mp3
So i gave her a visit and had a look what was going on.
I checked Windows it had 53 thousand entrys of _recovery_ +rkyft.html and   _recovery_ +rkyft.png
All files seemed to be renamed randomly for example picture01.jpg - was now picture01.jpg.wav
I downloaded malwarebytes updated it and deleted a malicious file that had random letters and was not to be found on a google search...

Bought Fences 2.13, Been Charged, but no Fences 2.13 key e-mail or download.

I bought Fences yesterday, the 9.99 dollars where charged to my credit card plus some 3 dollars that I wasn't told about (I'd like an explanation of that) but there I can't acces to download Fences and my account doesn't show any bought things or downloaded things, so, what can I do? Please don't tell me I've been robbed.

THANK  YOU  for figuring out Win10.

I don't post very often, I'm not tech savvy, and I wish I could contribute like all the talented skinners out there...

I've been a member since 2003 and I look forward everyday to see what new stuff is out there.

I am using Windows 7 and WB 7. I have put textures on Windows 7 default theme.In Windows 8/10 it is no longer possible to put textures on default MS theme. Is this for technical or legal reason?If it's a technical reason, then maybe this can be solved? If MS says no then not much can be done.Windows 8.1 theme and Windows 10 theme are not that bad. I've read some threads that give importance to having or not having total security 360, but, what if I do have it, what should I do to make fences work the way it's supposed to work? Fences do create only when the program is installed. I've uninstalled it and re-installed it several times, but it doesn't seem to work.It also gets bugged when I try to change the name of a Fence and I can't move any icon from the desktop. Trial used to work fine even with 360 Total Security on....

New Windows 10 install with latest updates.  Starting/restarting computer is fine.  Waking from sleep results in a black desktop, requiring reconfiguring Deskscapes 8.5.

I have uninstalled, rebooted, installed, rebooted and tried both the KLite and Shark codec packs. Deskscapes works perfectly in every case except when waking from sleep.  Can anyone offer advice?   Thanks in advance!

I purchased Object Desktop awhile ago, never had the need to update it and then upgraded my PC to Windows 10 and decided to check back and see if I could re install Object Desktop on Windows 10, low and behold I paid $50 for a program I cant even DOWNLOAD now, even without the current updates. This is a very poor model, because when I bought it, there was no indication ANYWHERE that it was a subscription based service. You don't pay $30 a year to keep WINDOWS updated or your favorite games, ...

I love windowblinds, it has amazing skinning capabilities, that's why I purchased it, I also purchased Naked Noir skin by vstyle, Its really an amazing skin.

However recently I have been dealing with this strange issue, whenever I try to shutdown, restart, or logoff the computer, I get this message :
