When I install Windows 10 Home update I converted from Fences 1.1 to Fences 2.13.

Now after Boot-up, neither the Fences or Icons that weren't in fences appear, until I right click once anywhere on the desktop.

Then they all appear, but still have to do a refresh to have the Icons line-up correctly within the Fences.

 

When I right click on desktop and select view

"Show Desktop Icons"  is checked, "Lock Fences" is checked. "Align Icons to Grid" is also checked.

Hi Stardock

 

i have bought the Fencies 2.0

After the installation, the software show me a little window where there are 3 blue buttons

Enter Product Key
Purchase Product Key
Start 30 Day Trial
i have the emailed product key and when i click on the first button (Enter Product Key) nothing happens... 

i tried to unistall and reinstall... but nothing.

 

What can i do? i have already paid this software.

So, just when I think I have the bastards beat, there's another twist to the story.

I had issues where I couldn't access downloads for Windows 8.1, just the Windows 10 downgrade, and it took me a couple of days to resolve.... or so I thought.



I didn't download all the available updates for Win 8.1 as there were quite a few and I didn't want to be tying things up or having to reboot at inopportune times.... hence the plan to do some at a time each day 'til done.

Well after some time of not doing any wallpapers I finally made a new wallpaper and I thought that I would share it with you , its been uploaded and hopefully it will be up soon . Hello everyone! It's nice to be back. I've been around since 2001/2 (I can't remeber) and I've seen some things. I used to change the way my desktop looked everyday for at least 2 years, then it was every 2 days... then once a week... now it's more like I'll change my DreamScapes wallpaper every few days or so and that's it. Well as I read about the ongoing issues with windowblinds for win 10 of which there seems to be a growing number of, Winstep which i know almost nothing about has seemed to have solved all the problems and has a ready to purchase product for win 10 that looks pretty good for 29 bucks. WHY are they able to get this done whereas stardock cant. Im growing very frustrated at the MASSIVE delay, when others have already released. I have been a windoblinds fan for years but this borders on the ridiculo...

I run Windows 10.

Fences used to run fine.

Until I plugged a new 4K monitor last week (DELL P2415Q 23.8 inch). Monitor 1 (4K) desktop is set to full rez and 200% scaling and monitor 2 (Full-HD) is also max rez set to 100% scale.

Now, every time that the screen goes into sleep mode, it breaks Fences. Icons change size (resolution), get all disorganized and won't snap to grid, boxes are gone or defective. I have to reboot to fix it.

I uninstalled Fences today and the problem went a...

What happened to Global Warming?

When I put my first above ground pool in around the late 90's we were able to open it in April and start swimming in May.

Now my pool is just opened and still not warm enough to swim in

 

I'd like some global warming back...

I bought the whole ObjectDesktop package and was hoping to use Deskscapes with Fences but they don't appear compatible. Whenever I use Deskscapes the icons in Fences are all visible all over the desktop which rather defeats the purpose of Deskscapes.

 

Can these programs work properly together and if so what do I do?

Hello, I have the Dexpot virtual desktop manager and when I switch desktops some of the icons disappear from some of my Fences. I don't know why. Is there any way to get them to stick?

Files all appear to be in c:\users\mschwager\Desktop .

I downloaded the latest Game Ready Driver yesterday from NVIDIA when the Game Ready App alerted me it was available and fell victim to the BSOD as did thousands of others.

It took me a bit to even discover I was not alone and it was actually not my fault for a change.

I did manage to boot into repair mode and I did a system restore. A lot of people were not even able to do that. I can attest to the fact that constant rebooting only got me the BSOD over and over.

There were several fixes...
