I had a problem with my Fences configuration and lost my Fences settings.  I didn't know about the restore from snapshot, but it's now more than three days old.

Is there any way to restore from a previous snapshot that's still on my hard drive?

I've been testing automating the upgrade of Fences using the "/s" switch so my users don't see the upgrade.  However whenever I use the silent install feature, it forces a restart after the installation.  If I don't use the silent install, no restart is forced.  I've tested this on 5 PCs now.

Note that these are all upgrades from v2.11 to v2.13 on Windows 7 x64 SP1.

I've tried to use a "/s /norestart" switch but this doesn't prevent a restart.

Fences won't start when Win 10 starts

I have deleted the old version of fences and downloaded and installed ver. 2.13. In spite of this, when Win 10 starts fences does not. If I run the exe with Administrator privileges it runs fine, otherwise not.

 

What gives?

I have Windows 10 & Fences v2.13, and noticed that sometimes when I reboot some icons overlap other icons in the same group.

In order to fix the issue, I have to move all the icons to the open desktop area, and then place them back into the group one at a time.

Fences is locked.

Align to grid is off

Auto Arrange is off.

Is there a fix for this issue ?

I found the old Windows XP AlienGUIse Alienware suites. I also found the Windows 7 version of the free themer, MyColors. I want to be able to use the old themes with the new program, since I have Windows 7 and need to use that program. When I just rename the .xpsuite file to a .mycolors file and add all the missing things that that has that the other doesn't, the theme doesn't apply. Presumably, this is to keep people from using MyColors instead of buying the full version. Do the themes ...

just downloaded and installed it. well... the npapi (firefox) version anyway... seems the activex (ie) version autoupdated itself but not npapi. weird. (saw the auto-updater/installer deemed safe in my security suite.)

 

noticed that there's no tickbox to select/deselect the mcafee crap seen previously in the d/l page. nothing in the installation process. haven't seen any toolbars or whatever it was. don't see nothing in plugins/addons page once installation was done. mayb...

Hello,

I was wondering if fellow gamers could help me in this department.  I have used the MS Natural Wireless Ergonomic keyboard & mouse combo for years and absolutely love it, best keyboard I ever had.  Now, I tried replacing it with the newest ergonomic keyboard from MS, but it's not to my taste at all.  The mouse, I can live with, but the keyboard...

Hi, I've just bought WindowBlinds and I'm sure it will be useful, but I have a basic question about using it on Windows 7.

What I want it for is to keep a standard aero theme and just change the white backgrounds of Windows Explorer and applications in general. To just change the white in each case to a very pale cream or anything easier on my eyes. I'm happy for everything else to stay the same.
