Hello,

How do I force Fences to put my Steam games shortcuts into my games fence?

 

It wants to keep putting them into my inernet links fence instead of my games fence.

I think the usability of Fences would skyrocket if there was a "bring-to-front" hotkey implemented.  Rather than "Windows + D," which completely toggles the desktop and minimizes all windows, I'd just like to press (for instance) "Windows + F," and have only my fences (not the entire desktop) appear on the top of the screen momentarily (a-la expose style).

As soon as I double-click an icon to launch a program, the fences return to their appropriate location at the bottom of the deskt...

Everytime I start/restart my Windows 8 laptop I get the window for Start8 and WindowBlinds 8 telling me that my license has expired.  I enter the info and it says it has been successfully activated.  But then he window closes and when I try to use either of those two programs the 'license has expired' window pops back up and I reenter the account info.  Over and over and over.  I am not having this problem with Fences 2, IconDeveloper, IconPackager 5, S...

I, like many of you, am a huge Sci Fi fan and it all started with "Star Trek".  My kids grew up loving it and now my grand kids are following suit.

I admit it, I cried when they killed off Spock, and was overjoyed when they brought him back and felt as if a family member had passed when Leonard Nimoy died. Never missed an episode or a movie - and have them all.  First on VHS and now DVD and digital.

Just received an important doc that requires my response.  It came in apple ".pages' format. I have a PC and can't open it.  Did web search, (via MS associations page) found only two programs.  Open freely and  free editor.  Both have mal / crap ware ware included, even when checking boxes to exclude the 'extras.'  Anyone have experience / suggestions with safe program to open an apples.pages doc on a PC?

So I'm downloading my products from my Stardock account and they are not activating. I put in the right activation keys and everything. I even tried the offline activation stuff as well.

 

I install the program like Spacemonger 

It tells me to activate. I put in my information and key.

Once it goes through it tells me my product is activated. Then after I hit okay, a message pops up saying it's not activated and  to go go back and complete the activation proces...

Dennis Faas over at Infopackets wrote a really good article and a step by step “how to” about sfc /scannow failures. You should probably bookmark this and print it out.

Hi, 

I'm trying your software today to organize my desktop. 

Everything fine except i can't move shortcut inside the fence i did create for. 

I'm on windows 8.1 with Classic Shell from Asus. 

Can u help me please ?

Since upgrading to Google Chrome 43, I have had this irritating problem with SOME Flash content making the interior of the Google Chrome window flash black and the Flash content not to work correctly.  Mostly this affected videos that autoplay on Facebook (they would play with no video but the audio would play); but, I have seen other Flash issues too.  I really thought it was a problem with the Flash included in this version of Chrome.  I have looked on the net trying to find oth...

i have the most up to dat fences. this is what happens. ill click on an icon inside a fence doesnt matter which one. i can be random ive tested it. also its annoying becuase it will also work on whichever program you last opened as well im renaming my steam icon 4-5 times a day. what happens is. click on an icon inside a fence.. right click desktop click new text document.. type in a name for that new text document and then not only will that text document be names whatever you typed in but you ...

Title pretty much says the problem. I can move the page over but it only just bounces back to it's original place. I'm running the latest version of windows 8 and have two monitors enabled. Fences is the only desktop editing program I use.

 

I've provided a link to a screencap of my desktop in case it provides any clues.

Am very pleased to report that WindowBlinds works great with the Windows 10 Tech Preview.

Upgraded from Win8.1, rebooted, and WindowBlinds works fine -- no problems. 

I did have to uninstall both Start8 and ModernMix, but I expected it would come to that (in the short run).
