I have two computers for work.  My desktop PC has Fences on it to help control/restore my desktop when I connect via remote desktop.  However, when I login to my surface, I get no desktop icons.  If I place something on the "desktop" of my Surface, it does not appear, the next time I log in to my desktop PC, I see it inside the appropriate Fences block.

I have never had Fences installed on the Surface and my IT department has changed the settings so that it runs off a local pro...

whenever i open the cursor fx plus control panel it becomes unresponsive just within 3-4 seconds and i even can not change the cursors and i need to close that panel. it happens every time. and my all other programs are working quite well

help me guys plz

I cannot get IconPackager to change my live folders.  I'm using a package that has live folders built-in.  I've rebuilt the icon cache several times.  When I look at the shell icons entry in the registry, it does point to my live folders icon package images. What am I missing???

I've been using the free version of Fences for forever now (because it's awesome and you guys are awesome like that) and I had an idea. I'm not sure if this is a thing on the paid/full version or not, but what about the idea of allowing people to make custom fence shapes or to be able to merge fence boxes together into a single fence with something other than a square (or other box form) shape? Maybe someone being creative with their desktop might want a "L" shaped fence, or to link ...

With pretty much all the themes for WindowBlinds, the tabs in new firefox are unreadable. A few days ago my firefox got updated to version 29, and it has major interface changes. So now I wonder is this a theme problem, or a firefox problem, or windowblinds problem?

And how to solve this.

This is what I mean with 'tabs are unreadable':

I had a problem with my Fences configuration and lost my Fences settings.  I didn't know about the restore from snapshot, but it's now more than three days old.

Is there any way to restore from a previous snapshot that's still on my hard drive?

Well, I suppose we should be grateful. After all, MS is servicing THEIR Windows XP computers with security updates, etc. for your tax dollars…much like the benefits you don’t see in the pricing of prescription drugs your tax dollars helped finance.

We should be grateful the government even cares enough to keep their outmoded computers and XP updated with security patches, etc.

So, the Navy has joined the “yeah, we’re paying $9.1 million dollars this year to MS for upkeep ...

I really like the idea of being able to switch layouts depending on my task at hand but as I have multiple monitors, I find managing them is a bit of a chore.

I've currently got my setup so that my 'everyday' icons are on my left monitor and my task specific ones on my right.

I have several clients I support and each client has their own Fence, all on the right screen but I'm now getting to the point where I don't have enough space for all my clients.

One windows 7, I can change screens by dragging the edge of the current screen with the mouse, but lining up the mouse cursor with the edge of the screen is "tedious".  Is there any other way?
