Win 8.0 + Chrome 43 + Flash + WindowBlinds 8.12 = Flash Problems
Since upgrading to Google Chrome 43, I have had this irritating problem with SOME Flash content making the interior of the Google Chrome window flash black and the Flash content not to work correctly. Mostly this affected videos that autoplay on Facebook (they would play with no video but the audio would play); but, I have seen other Flash issues too. joeuser default forum colors hard to read, also any way to change to a different theme?
The blue on dark blue forum categories are hard to read, really exacerbated I think by the fact they are surrounded by a white background. Does anyone else see this? Also, I'm probably (okay, more likely than merely probably) an ijit, but is there a way to change the default forum color scheme?

Windows 8 - DeskScapes 8 Has Black Background
The problem I am having is when I run DeskScapes 8 on Windows 8 it has a black background. The only dream that works is Planktonic.

MS and Oracle trading salvos…toolbars are the issue, and well, money.
MS has over the past month turned its security software to destroy the Ask browser toolbar. For anyone who doesn’t know, Oracle bundled this crap with Java…despite consumer complaints.
So Oracle “answered” MS by changing its installer to now bundle the Yahoo browser tool to IE.
On 12.11.14 MS threw down the gauntlet and said “enough” (here) and set the target date to 6.1 for implementation.

Hide icons who's Target can't be resolved (white icons)
I'd like a feature (or know how to do it) in Fences where it will allow me to build a rule to control icons where the Target can't be resolved.
My use case is: I have a Domain account with folder redirection enabled in the GPO. If I install 5 programs on my main PC and put icons on the desktop for them, those 5 icons show up on all my other PCs/Laptops I log into and they don't have that program. The other laptops show the white icons because AD folder redire...![]()

IconPackager not happy with Winstep
I have IconPackager installed and just recently installed Winstep Xtreme, only to find that the icons in the task bar were all blank pages, the support folk at Winstep have since told me that it is a bug in IconPackager and not Winstep. Is this a known problem and something that can be looked into and fixed so that you can have both IconPackager and Winstep installed without getting the blank icons?.![]()

Can't run program
All I wanted was fences. When I went to purchse it, I ordered Object stardock by accident. Within 10 mintues, I tried to contact this company by every means possible, including sending a facebook message to Brad Wardell. NO responses to any of the forms of communication.
So now I am wondering if I cancel the autopayment portion of Oject stardock, can I still use fences? Since I am guessing here I am going ot say yes...since on one of my computers I still ha...![]()

Unresponsive screen for a few minutes after rebooting or plugging second monitor
Hi,
For a month now (after a Start 8 or Fences update maybe), my Windows 8.1 Dell XPS 21 takes several minutes before I can interact with the desktop. The cusrosr displays a spinning wheel and clicking anywhere is unresponsive.
The same thing happen (spinning wheel and no interaction with desktop or menu bar for a few minutes) if I plug or unplug my secondary monitor.
Uninstalling Fences resolves the issue. Re-installing Fences bring back the problem...
