Hi,


We purchased 10 additional licences on 15th May but when we go to activate them we get the following error message -
Activation failurePlease contact support@stardock.com for assistance
as you have hit the max activation count and they
would need to reset it.

I logged ticket with Stardock support on 04-June (WZQ-690-47775) but no reply so far.I also checked my Stardock account to confirm that the purchase is there and correct.

Any suggestions?

We have one user who’s having an issue with shortcuts dropping out of Fences. At his desk he has two screens with his Fences on the second screen.  He’s recently started to use a PC connected to a projector in the conference room.  He has a roaming profile so all his settings travel with him. We have Fences set to preserve their position on a per resolution basis on both his desk PC and the conference room PC.  The Fences themselves do retain their p...

I've been testing automating the upgrade of Fences using the "/s" switch so my users don't see the upgrade.  However whenever I use the silent install feature, it forces a restart after the installation.  If I don't use the silent install, no restart is forced.  I've tested this on 5 PCs now.

Note that these are all upgrades from v2.11 to v2.13 on Windows 7 x64 SP1.

I've tried to use a "/s /norestart" switch but this doesn't prevent a restart.

MS is going to try to give Chromebooks a run for the money…

Digitimes wrote that apparently MS is working with Acer, Lenovo, and Inventec to produce $169-249 W10 notebooks.

Sounds like good news to me…and might be for the OEMs as well as profits haven’t been all that great for them…

I'm automatically auto-subscribed to any reply I make, even though I have that feature deselected in my profile.

Evidently, it works for some people as indicated in the following thread...

Also, if I try to navigate to the Forums Issues area (this area) from the GalCiv3 site, it says "Forums Go Boom".  I can navigate here from the GalCiv2 forums though.

Hey guys, so recently i did uninstall with DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller in Safety Mode) my NVIDIA Graphics Driver because i had an issue with it. Before that Deskscapes its Revolving Earth that is in realtime had a smooth FPS and all that. Is there a way to have a feature added to deskscapes to put customizable PC info on the desktop.

PC name; IP address info; hard drive info; and have it stay on desktop when Deskscapes cycles through wallpapers?

Hi, i just want to apply Windows Explorer backgrounds, not remake the whole UI, so is there a way to apply custom explorer backgrounds to the Default Windows 8.1 theme? Thanks


EDIT: I want that cause i think all other themes look shitty, kinda like Windows 7, even if i apply the "Win8" theme. I want solely the Windows 8 Default Theme as it looks nice and clean, i hate Windows 7 so i only want to edit basic parts of it like the explorer background.

Hi,

 

I currently have Delldock and I would like to test ObjectDock, but I can't install the trial version. I have this error :

 

"Encountered a sharing violation while accessing C:\Program Files(x86)\Stardock\ObjectDock\ODMenu.dll"

 

Do I need to remove DellDock first?

Hi,

 

For a month now (after a Start 8 or Fences update maybe), my Windows 8.1 Dell XPS 21 takes several minutes before I can interact with the desktop. The cusrosr displays a spinning wheel and clicking anywhere is unresponsive.

The same thing happen (spinning wheel and no interaction with desktop or menu bar for a few minutes) if I plug or unplug my secondary monitor.

 

Uninstalling Fences resolves the issue. Re-installing Fences bring back the problem...

Just discovered Fences a few days ago and I love it! Wish I had found this years ago. I searched the forums about being able to collapse individual fences. People were asking for this feature from around 2009 through 2012, and then no one has inquired about it since. Is this because minimize/collapsing a fence is now a feature?

If so ... HOW??

Hello! I got a problem after i try to instal my legal copy of Acoustic Bridge. After reinstalling windows i try to install Acoustic Bridge again but now i can`t register it. I got a message that "Maximum activations reached", but i never install it on more then my 2 computers. Maximum from instruction it can be instaled on 4 PCs. How can i register it now? Please help me reset activation count.

I start a support ticket, but after 2 days i dont get any responce. [#XGH-813-83048]
