Hi,, I am new to desktopX........

I am triying to make a sidebar gadget like of win7......

so when i click on one object in main panel it mus show the other object like popup....I did that using "RomanDA" tutorials but when i open the gadget it also popups all the sub widets in that,,,,it must be hideen while i start up and after clicking it must popup then again if i click it mus hide,,,,

I noticed a bug.

While copying files in Windows 8 causes the copy window to freeze if minimized!

The only way to unfreeze it, is to to click more/less details in the copy window

.

At this point in the game, I imagine that You at stardock must be finding our concerns tedious, as your position and policy of "wait and see" is fully stated regarding Windows 8. It is backed by sound reasoning and I concur.

If you can not commit on your plans for the new OS, please let me state my concerns and fears for your development and licensing considerations. I am aware that I am a unique individual and by no means represent your customer base.

I haven't update my WB7 in a few month (i blame my memory for that ) and a few days ago when i run impulse and notice it's updated to gamestop app and my softwares including WB7, OD1 and 2, Cursor FX, and a few others that i can't remember are not in the list. I did some "googling" and found out about SDcentral but my softwares are also not in there. I emailed Stardock support and no reply for 3 days already. Anyone help?

Anyone who has an SSD already know this. But there are still people out there who aren’t sure on this. The performance difference of putting in an SSD is greater than any single upgrade I’ve ever seen since the days back in the early 90s of going from 4M to 8M in memory on Windows NT or OS/2.

Been spending rather a lot of time in C4D these days working on modelling, lighting, texturing... One can only do so much in Photoshop... and I've

been doing it.. a loooong time... or so it feels...

So.....thought I would venture into 3D again for another WB.... Post work in PS.

I'm thinking along the lines of an upscale, contemporary, plush apartment in a modern Metropolis. Stainless steel fixtures..mood lighting.. et cetera

For XP, Vista and 7.

Will post more as I go.

Many other roles... he gave his best. He didn't quit.

He fought cancer. Beat one, but lost to another, but lived well and gave to others along the way.

Greetings!

I've installed on a win7 64 the latest free version of cursorfx and everything was working, then i bought full version, uninstalled the free and reinstalled the paided version in same directory...

Now i cannot start Cursorfx Control Panel.exe, it crashes without even appearing and a microsoft APPCRASH error event is created (microsoft asks for some log files to find the solution to the problem, if you need i ll post a link for download). I've tried with reboot...

Yeah, I'm pretty pissed with Acronis. 2012 isn't even over and Acronis True Image 2012 is obsolete if you run Windows 8. It won't install on Win 8 and this page suggests it will never be updated to do so. It's pissing me off enormously because I only purchased it 4 - 5 months ago and I've not even gotten 6 months use out of it.

Now it wouldn't be so bad if there were plans to update it, or if it were 10 years old or something, but the year for w...

The other day, my brother-in law was at the hospital waiting to get an x-ray. He happened to hear an old gentleman bemoaning the fact that he was cold and had no coat. My bro-in-law got up, went out to his truck and returned to the hospital with his coat, which he gave to the old guy, a complete stranger. I just wanted to pass this along.

After using Windows all day, all-of-a-sudden, I notice that most my apps start to crash persistently. The only way to fix it is to reboot. I even tried changing to a different skin, but still same thing. I dont see this issue at all until after several hours of use. Once it starts, it will continue until I restart.
