I get every day the message that a new update was found. When I open Stardock Central I can not see any update available. My second problem is that I do not see Fallen Enchantress neither in the list of installed software, nor in the list of downloadable games.
I post this in one thread, because both problems started when I canceled an update that was found. Fallen Enchantress was installed through Stardock Central and can still be started with the direct link on my desktop. Update checks are a...

Stardock Central is not running, but I still get messages for available updates. I do not find something in autostart or in the msconfig startup part. So how does it still check for updates while being closed.
I want Stardock Central to check for updates for itself and the software only when it is running. Is this possible?

Upon starting up remote screen shares with my clients;

Fences' Folder Portals feature is unavailable in classic mode. Please enable Aero to use this feature.



 

Can this message please be suppressed with a tick box via Fences options?

Hi, Dear Friends!I'm making a logon screen for Win XP. I've included my favorite desktop wallpaper in the original Windows Logonui.Exe but I don't know how to remove the blue top and bottom panels. I also need your help for making transparent the blue background of Microsoft Windows logo. The rest of the screen is OK!With best regards.

I'm new to Fences having purchased it when I installed Start8 on a new Win 8 system.

Both are great products and run well for me, save for one issue with Fences.

My boot time from a cold start is no more than 10 seconds, but the time it takes to load Fences is considerably more. This is from an SSD and it is generally very fast.

One thing I have noticed is that there are actually two entries in startup manager for Fences. Is this correct? What can I do to improve loading performance...

The aero option is still available in this just-released build. But the 'intel' is it won't be in any further beta (if there is one) and not in the

RTM and retail versions. That means, as far as I'm concerned, WinBlinds is back in the loop (I lived without it on WN7.) I like aero - turn it

off and you'll see what I mean. Bland. There will be many, especially those using Metro on phones and pads, who won't want it.  I can see

the reason for that. A flat look ...

Disclaimer: I have never, ever bought Master items from the gallery. I have a couple of free fishys, a brown clown fish and a neon tetra, that I love dearly. They simply swim back and forth. After investigation it seems that the only really nice fish cost money. I'm on a fixed income and so I save up to get said fishes.

I upgraded to Windows 7 to Windows 8. At the same time I upgraded to Fences 2.0. The program absolutely does not  work. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It will not load and when I go to the exe file it states it needs to be re-installed.

I have been struggling to find a solution to this issue: Fences 2 causes Windows Explorer to crash. I have contacted the support service, but I am still waiting. One thing I've noticed over the years is how often someone thinks a post (blog, fb, tweet, etc.) is about them. Makes me think of the song "you're so vain".

Anyone else ever experience that?

Guys, anyone having a touch screen PC, be it with Windows 7 or Windows 8, I stumbled upon this, you guys may already know about.

It's for Windows 7, but it seems to work on 8.

 

My favorite part is the interactive Lagoon screensaver. You can interact with the water.

I was in the hospital recently for 3 days and had decided to take a good book along as reading is a really great way to pass time - and I chose Dracula. I hadn't actually read the book even though I had to read literature journals about the role of woman in the victorian society, the function of the monster, sexuality and eroticism in gothic novels, and about vampires as a gothic creation that stood for the monster that was allowed to do everythings that wasn't in the prude victorian society.

i would happily  pay for this . the taskbar does not do much even in windows 8 .

i know that you guys have a dock system but if the dock system was made in the  windows task bar it would take less space
