Razer Synapse does not crash. It just vanishes. You can't use it, configure anything, or program anything.

 

I have a Razer Naga - not a razer keyboard. This is on an Asus ROG laptop.

Is there a way to make Deskscapes work with these Ultrawide resolutions ? It seems to give me black bars on the side @ 2560x1080 (current monitor), like it's doing 1920 x 1080 still...

I have RocketDock on the left of my Windows 7 desktop, unhidden, because that's how I like it. But that's where downloads to the desktop go, and I often wind up with downloaded files under the RocketDock launcher.

My question: can I create a fence for desktop downloads which will let me keep them away the left side of the desktop?

So, I bought Demigod a long time ago and I keep forgetting about my impulse account when I want to re-download the game. I've tried redeeming the same old key on steam and sadly it doesn't work. Is there any way I can get a steam key for demigod instead? It's just a matter of convenience for me as I use steam every day and the only game I have that requires impulse is Demigod and I don't like having to start more launchers than I need to because it lags my internet a bit as well ...

I too subscribe to OD and have for over a decade by now.  Is there any advantage to the 'Infinite' as far as licenses --- I.E. every once in a while I have to ask Stardock to reset my activations so that I can re-install OD.  This is always due to me re-arranging things or a machine that just bites the dust, either way OD never got uninstalled gracefully on the dead machine.  Other companies allow for de-activating licenses for given machines which comes in very handy when...

What's the last movie you saw?  Doesn't matter if it was at home or at a theater.

Last one I saw was Captain Philips.  I thought it a pretty good movie, especially since it was based on real events.

W10 doesn’t appeal to me esthetically, but none of MS’s OSs have, so that’s no biggy – or at least not a new biggy.

Anyway, lots of folks seem really happy about “free W10”. That would be W7 and W8.1 users, I guess (because MS hasn’t specifically said) and 8, RT, Vista and XP users are SOL.

Fences 2.13, Win 8.1 Pro x64.  I've got one Fence title that remains on the desktop when I double click and hide all the others (along with those icons not excluded from quick hide).  There are a couple of icons in it, and I just noticed that niether responds to exclude quick hide being disabled; i.e., they always show.  That must be where the problem lies.  Any ideas?  Thanks,

Update: not sure what was causing it, but deleted the Fence and icons and recreated it....

I am trying to update Deskscapes to version 8, but during the uninstall process I get a pop up asking for a program called Deskscapes_public.msi on an installation disk. I do not have an installation disk and installed through the Stardocks Object Desktop installer. The version 8 tells me that I have to uninstall the old version first and stops and I get the same message when trying to install the old version.

How do you uninstall Deskscapes 3?

The behaviour I am used to seeing when new icons are added is that they go where the foobar copy icon is:



(This is a screenshot of the top left of my desktop)

If I had more new icons added (from downloads mainly since I told my browser to save to desktop), they would keep stacking vertically downwards (so the next one would go under the foobar copy).

Unfortunately, Fences changes this behaviour. Watch what happens when I copy and paste an icon (using shortcuts, because right clickin...

I am encountering a very bad issue with theme manager.

I try a theme (Lantana) .. The result is absolutely incompatible with Mozilla Thunderbird! ! !

this is a part of the window of Thunderbird



Also when I move the mouse over this windows, it is blinking and I can see my messages ...

Hey, i wonder if anyone of you is facing the same problem like me, when writing and sending a PM?
Each time i enter the captcha it says that it was incorrect and it only works on the second try for each time i wrote a PM.
I just wonder if this is made to keep bots from harrasing members or it is related to my browser?
