I recently installed an update to Fences - from 2.11 to 2.13 - rebooted and now it refuses to work at all.

1/. I installed the update, lost all my previous Fences and when I tried to  start it from the menu I got an error message that says - "Fences does not appear to be loaded"/"You may need to reinstall Fences".

2/. I reinstalled 2.13, rebooted and it made no difference, so I went back to the original 2.11 and reinstalled that - but with the same effect - that is, it doesn'...

My apologies if this has been addressed many times before, but none of my search terms are bringing about the proper results.

I have an old skin that I like, but the titlebar buttons do not adequately work, so unless I hit them exactly where they register, I'm just sitting there clicking a non-responsive button.

I'd like to just remove the skinned buttons and use Windows' defaults. When I get to where I think I need to be in Skin Studio, though, I can see where I can re-skin th...

W10 doesn’t appeal to me esthetically, but none of MS’s OSs have, so that’s no biggy – or at least not a new biggy.

Anyway, lots of folks seem really happy about “free W10”. That would be W7 and W8.1 users, I guess (because MS hasn’t specifically said) and 8, RT, Vista and XP users are SOL.

Can anyone supply a link to a safe mpeg-2 decoder for my wife's laptop?  My google searches have produced links that either Chrome objects to or Norton NIS.  Even one I downloaded from C-NET had malware in it that Norton erased but then the decoder didn't work anyway.

Any help is appreciated.

Hello.

I have a problem with my windows 8.1 Pro installation on my new PC and i need to refresh it. This way ALL applications installed would deleted and i must reinstall them.

How can i unregister the DeskScapes so i can register on the fresh installation.

While I have bought and love (most of) the complete suite of products, I just uninstalled the icon programs.  Well, it seems as though most of the original system and program incons got deleted as well.  Is there any way to recover them outside of reinstalling the original programs again ... which would take an eternity.

I know it seems like a strange request but every 2 or 3 reboots I find that the taskbar is white. I've read of others having this glitch and of course the simple--and only--solution I've read is to simply reapply the theme. Yes, this always works, but since I never really minded how the taskbar looked unskinned, I was wondering if there was a way to prevent Windowblinds from skinning the taskbar? I have a Keurig machine, and I use the refillable K-cups which I fill with whatever coffee I decide to buy at the grocery store.  It's much cheaper than the packaged K-cups, and in my opinion, tastes about the same.

On Neowin, this just popped up…but they’re only for those running W10 Tech Preview.

Versions for Windows Tablets and phones will be coming pretty soon, as well.
