Hi,

I have had an ongoing problem for years. Sometimes it goes away for a while if I do an update to fences but it always comes back.

The behavior I expect is that icons in the "general" desktop population will not be able to exist under a fence. If I move the fence I expect the non-fence icons to move around to get out of the way. However, what happens (particularly after a crash of a game in an off-resolution or when the primary monitor becomes one with a lower resolution) is that my fen...

Description

When Fences has Show labels disabled, folder portals still show labels on mouseover.

Fence settings to duplicate bug

Show labels set to NEVER



Fences version 2.10.0.485

Os Win7 64bit



The mouse isnt captured but its over the window

Best alternative to Windows Task Manager is free.

Windows Task Manager is the native Windows app which comes with the OS and which gives very limited information about usage and processes running. It doesn’t list dependencies, which isn’t good.

There are better alternatives and all (as far as I know) are free. I took a look at Process Explorer and System Explorer.

Mark Russinovich wrote Process Explorer. The older among us also know he did SysInternals, which is the definitive tool collection for analyzing MS OSs.

Hey,

Please disable the logging feature in Fences or at least make the logging a simple command line option please.

Every time it cleans the log it causes the screen saver to turn off which also means it won't allow my computer to sleep correctly.

A bit annoying.

Hey guys. I can't get Theme Manager to load anything other than Aero Midnight on XP or Vista.

 

I also can't get MyColors to install on either.

 

What's up?

 

I realize that XP is no longer supported, but these programs should work on XP. I hate that I bought a bunch of MyColors themes and can't use them.

So I am using the latest version of Modern mix  and most of the time when I use the X to close the app it does not remove it from the taskbar.  It still shows there as running, even after it has left the screen.  Sometimes they do completely shutdown, but I am not sure what causes a program to close versus stay in the task bar.

 

Any help would be appreciated

I have WindowBlinds8 on my Alienware X51 and on my new Lenovo touch screen AIO- when I change theme on one, it changes on the other pc.

 

Is this supposed to happen or am I being a bit dim and not set it up right

Hello All,

I used Window Blinds to apply a theme to my Win 8.1 Pro computer. I didn't like the theme so I clicked the "default" theme to restore things back to the way they were. The problem is, some things that were modified were not reverted back to the way it looked before applying the theme. One obvious change that persisted was the border around my Windows applications/windows/etc. Here is a screenshot of what it looks like:

got a minor problem, I am having my start menu spin out from button left side. looks great a feature I wish they thought off but as always Stardock always comes thru. ok when I click the start button and the menu spins out, the color on the bottom same as taskbar, shows thru the last few rows of my start menu. odd though everything is there just black. any clues to fix besides reboot.

I think that adding tabs like web browsers have would be a nice addition.
Here is an example;

Master Fence "GAMES" but adding a tab could separate the games from "game support" apps like pinnacle game profiler and DS4 Windows. And maybe another tab for   apps like Steam, Uplay and origin.

 

An event better example would be "Movies" then separate out by genres into the tabs.

When I open ODM it now shows nothing under Manage and Installed, under Subscriptions it shows expired.  When I go to Stardock/My Account it shows there are still 30 days left on my subscriptions for Object Destktop and WinCustomize.

Is this a known problem or something new when a subscription hits 30 days left?

Hi,

I am experiencing a problem with the latest Firefox version (32.0) released September 2014 and what I imagine is a software conflict with WindowBlinds (although it could be any of the Stardock software packages). I have checked Stardock Central and I have the latest versions of the Stardock products I use. My OS is Windows 8.1. You can see my problem below:

I just upgraded from WindowBlinds 8.06 from 8.04; but, when I look at the about screen, it says I have 8.04?  Why?
