A Rant... Just Cos I Feel Like it
After waiting almost 2 years to see an ENT [Ear Nose & Throat] specialist at my local hospital [with regard to issues with my right ear and associated feelings of nausea and vertigo] I was seen just twice [for a total of about 25 minutes] then fobbed off by some inexperienced understudy of my assigned doctor.
Bastards!!!!!
Now all they did was look in my ear with a scope thingy and do a CT scan. That's it and I was told that they could see nothing wrong with my ea...![]()

Install Error Msg - Win 8.1
When I try to install the latest upgrade I get the error msg: "The following minimum system requirements were not met: Operating System..." Then it list several different Windows OS. Will this upgrade not work with the latest Win 8 upgrade? Or maybe I just need to close WindowBlinds first?![]()

ObjectDock keeps freezing
I have today purchased ObjectDock to replace RocketDock which I have used for quite a while.
I needed a stack docklet, and post hxxp://forums.stardock.com/453274/page/1/#3461826 suggested using the stacks docklet.
The OP then asked where this may be obtained, but received no reply. I therefore decided to try the RocketDock stack docklet
which seems to work fine.
Unfortunately, however, after a few minute the ObjectDock seems to freeze. I still have access to the stack docklet items, ...![]()

The forums have been nice distraction from many things in life and have been great for quite reading, stress relief, and expressing ideas but I wanted to have a week end for once that didn't involve many hours of writing.

Windowblinds 8.04 Adobe reader skinning problem
Hey ,
Facing skinning problem on printing page screen in Adobe reader only. In microsoft office that box is correctly skinned but not in adobe reader.
Apart from that WindowFX effects are not working on these screens also but work fine in Microsoft office word. Thirdly, would like to request that you guys should include a msstyle importer for windows 7 and 8 skins in the skin studio because there are tons of great themes which i personally think should be ported but my inte...![]()

Installing Windows 8.1 on a new system with an SSD
Howdy all,
My son is building a brand new system which will have an 240G SSD for the OS and a 1T HDD for everything else. It probably has that new-fangled BIOS on the board.
Just wondering if there is anything special about installing an OS on an SSD. Also, how do you keep the OS partition from bloating with user files and all the other crap that ends up in the OS partition. I know that you can point the library folders to another HDD, but there are a lot of other files w...![]()

Change titlebar button size?
I've been trying out WB on my Win 8.1 tablet and I like it a lot. The only problem I have is that the min/max/off buttons in the window titlebars (not the taskbar) are too tiny. I can barely operate them. With WB I can make the titlebar font larger, and that forces the titlebar larger (sort of -- it looks kinda funky), but the buttons don't enlarge. Any way to fix this?![]()

fences swap screens when switch off, then on my monitors...
Hello,
I'm a big fan of Fences, but since i've 2 monitors (DVI - hdmi/displyport), each time i switch them off (for lunch or break time), and when i switch them on, no mater witch one i switch on first, my fences are swapped :
All my fences from main monitor went to the other one, and vice-versa...
Even with a restore snapshot it stays swapped...
Is there anyway to prevent that ? to let my fences where they belong ?

Can't move Icons into fences or from fence to fence
I can't drag and drop desktop icons, I have the latest version of Fences installed. When I click and drag them the round circle with a line through it appears. Thanks!![]()

A windows 7 theme for windowblinds
I purchased WindowBlinds in hope to find a theme that looks just like windows 7 as if side by side, its not easy to tell the difference. The Diamond theme didn't really accomplish that for me. I tried looking all around wincustomize for the theme but couldnt find any. Does anyone know a theme that looks exactly like windows 7?![]()
