I hope everyone has updated to the free 2.0 version since Leo the Lion’s post.

The Licensed version seems to have a bug. Martin Brinkmann has posted on error code 20026. Apparently, the anti-rootkit component isn’t working. I’m not sure if this is true for the free version as well.

I backup key files on my system so that in the event of failure, I can reinstall with my prior settings. My backup includes the Registry, and directories such as SendTo and Startup, and files such as Cookies and Favorites. I'd like to save my Fences layouts as well but cannot determine which files to backup... Fences is not in the Registry, and after saving a layout it seems that only C:\Windows\Prefetch\FENCES.EXE-E9250818.pf is updated. The other Fences files in C:\ProgramData\{067CEB81-A...

Hey guys, I can't seem to paste anything in skin comments at WinCustomize. I can paste in the forums.

No errors, just nothing. 

Nothing. Using IE 11. No addons, and copy/paste is enabled in internet options security tab.

I can paste if I use compatibility mode. But then other things are borked.

 

I can paste in Chrome. I do not have any other browsers installed.

So I've had this problem for months now, been back and forth with Stardock technical support and nothing they suggest seems to fix it. I've used Windowblinds for years and apart from one issue with UAC a few years ago I've never had any big problems with it. But at the end of my tether I've disabled it this morning as I simply cannot fix this issue.

Basically what happens is my taskbar keeps locking up. By locking up I mean I click the icons and nothing happens, I can't pe...

I've recently installed Windowblinds 8 on a Win7 machine - Mostly is working fine, but sometimes explorer backgrounds don't get skinned properly I usually get a dark grey background (usually I don't like transparency, so I don't enable it) and even applying textures sometimes is not working .

 

Besides in folder Dowloads and Desktop explorer background is always white , no matter which skin is applied.

More, someimes I need to restart PC to apply a new theme.

I have a new MacBook Pro with retina display that I use Windows 8.1 on. I have downloaded WindowBlinds but every skin I apply has the same problem - tiny system icons. These are the icons in the title bar (eg window minimize, window maximize, window close), also the icons on the bottom right in the notification area of the task bar, and also the right arrow icons in the Start menu (I am using Start 8 to get a proper Start menu going).

The tiny size affects programs like Firefox - the top titl...

I have been using ObjectDock for a very long time.  I used to use the old free version because all I ever needed was one dock.  I recently had to purchase a new hard drive and decided to get a SSD.  I have never had an issue with ObjectDock until I started using this SSD.  I have the settings to have it pinned to the desktop and not to pop up when I mouse over it.  I noticed that there is a similar post to this but from two years ago.  That post never had a fixed po...

You can always tell a skin by a Master... uncluttered, classy, stylish and ultra usable... & 'Delta Quadrant' has that Master stamp....   

 

'Delta Quadrant' may be... far out....     .. but it's not far away....

So I found these old Nintendo Theme Suites:They are complete, with sound replacements, wallpapers, IconPackager, the works. There's 6 more: Zelda: Windwaker, Super Mario Sunshine, Pikimin, GameBoy Advance SP, Star Fox Adventures, and Eternal Darkness . They're beautiful, but only problem is they're for Windows 95-XPSP1. I'd like to be able to use them on my Windows 7 without the corruptions that happen by using old themes with new OS's. If you want these and the other themes ...

I cannot get IconPackager to change my live folders.  I'm using a package that has live folders built-in.  I've rebuilt the icon cache several times.  When I look at the shell icons entry in the registry, it does point to my live folders icon package images. What am I missing???

I have never really followed the Olympics.  I'm not a big sports person in general, so I guess maybe that's the base of it, but I really have no desire to watch or follow anything going on with the Olympics.

Does anyone here watch the Olympics?
