It seems “big” phones and devices are now in as we have a bunch of devices arriving that some are calling “phablets”.  The latest is the Lumia 1520 which is a 6-inch Windows Phone device with a 1080p display and 20mp camera.

I have a Lumia 920 and it was quite the size upgrade from the iPhone.  I haven’t held a device of this size yet, but I’m curious if it’s too big or if it hits the right size spot.  Engadget has a great review up with more detail on the 1520.

I usually drag shortcuts from my desktop into the dock and then delete the shortcut form the desktop.

I tried this with the Flixster desktop app and found that the icon in objectdock doesn't work if I delete the Flixster shortcut from the desktop. 

Looking at the Flixster shortcut it seems to be of type .appref-ms, which does not include a link to the executable. Does anyone know how to add these type of shortcuts to object dock?

I was able to find some of the Windowblind textures under:

C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock\WindowBlinds\Textures


However, I can't find the one highlighted below.  Does anyone know how to use that texture in a skin, so it doesnt have to be manually selected by the user?  I thought perhaps the image file I'm looking for is a .texture file in the above-mentioned directory.  However, I'm not sure what application would be able to view/convert these types of imag...

With Windows 8 and it's updates community members have probably once again been changing their desktops to suite their needs and desires.  Stardock has provided several programs to help folks get back what most thought were useful functions.  New programs such as Start8, ModernMix, Launch8 and Decor8 along with updates to existing programs have made transitioning to the new OS much easier.

So with taking the above in to consideration I was wondering just how much community ...

I know this has been covered before but this REALLY need to be fixed. I read some where of a moderator saying the problem was more of a "feature". Its not. 

The docks get pushed from the right edge and/or bottom edge when the resolution is changed, either from switching users or even turning off my HDTV (which my home theater PC is attached to via HDMI). Even if I click on switch user from (user x) and go to the logon screen and go back to the same user x, the docks will be pushed to the...

I'm sure the response here will be that Icon Packager isn't yet compatible with Windows 8.1, but I just thought I'd report that it changes all icons except folders.

A new Windows Phone device from Nokia was announced today.  The latest being the Lumia Icon with a 5-inch 1080p HD screen, 20mp camera, quad-core processor, and much more.  The only downside is this is exclusive to Verizon.

Windows Phone Central has a detailed review up already, and you can read that here.

It looks nice a great device, but being exclusive to Verizon leaves me out, so maybe it’s time to grab that Lumia 1520 instead.

It has come to our attention that some people may have had issues with some apps and WB and opted not to tell anyone about it.

Obviously we would like to know about them so we can resolve the issues.

If you have had an issue with an app caused by being skinned by WB, please post the following information in this thread:

I tried to configure fences 2.12 to use different wallpapers for different desktop pages.

How do i do that? I couldn't figure it out...or does this feature only exist in my imagination?
