The last community skin we did was the Holiday Community Suite back in 2009.  I wouldn't mind doing another winter holiday suite, but that's for later in the year.

So lets start getting ideas for the next community suite.  Do we go for a season like Spring or Summer?  Another holiday?  A different type of theme?

Hello!

 

I have a similar query like this one - http://forums.stardock.com/450237, but there is no solution there unfortunately. 

 

I am migrating to a new hard drive and I installed Fences on it, and when it wants to activate, I have no idea how to do it.

 

I do not have a serial number present, I didn't buy Fences through the website, but rather through the application itself by putting in my credit card details and such. It got working autom...

Hi all!

I just wanted to drop a quick note about uploading works to WinCustomize, especially in the wallpaper, DeskScapes, logon, and bootskin categories.  We have been seeing quite a few submissions that are not the original works of the person submitting it.  I don't think many of these are intentional, but I wanted to remind people that the works you submit must be your own, or with written permission for use.

The Dream gallery on WinCustomize has become quite a mess and a problem, so it's time to clear a few things up. Most of these rules will also appy to wallpaper uploads also.

Fair use of video is limited to 15 seconds of the clip or less than 25% of the original video file in length (whichever is shorter).  This does not apply to images that someone takes and you add animation to them.  
 Permission must be included with every submission that is not created by the pers...

Birds..... is the one that I am now using. It's easy to see, I love the way it changes colors, it just rocks the desktop!

Then again, I love Legend as well as the Cursor that looks like a surfboard!  They rock as well. Rock the desktop, lol!

This is just a suggestion......It would be nice to see a glassy style theme.....I have in mind a futuristic city of crystal.......a diamond city with elements of transparent gold.......may not interest anyone but it sounds promising........

I have never been able to launch a 64bit application from a folder shortcut in ObjectDock. Is this possible?

 

Explanation:

I use the 64 bit version of FireFox (named Nightly). It is installed at "C:\Program Files\Nightly\firefox.exe".

I have a shortcut to the executable in a folder named "Internet". The shortcut target is "%ProgramW6432%\Nightly\firefox.exe -p Nightly -no-remote". This shortcut works fine when double-clicked.

I would like to use the skin Naked Noir on my Win 8 computer but the problem I'm having is in the start menu. When I click on All Programs the background is white with white text. I noticed this with a couple of other skins. What I would like to do is change the text color to black. I have SkinStudio but I can't seem to find the setting for this. Or would it be easier to change the background to black?

Im almost done enhancing my moderately dark, glassy, aero theme.  However, I noticed when I RDP, I still have this ugly "XP-like" blue bar on top.  Im curious if there's a way to change this bar to match the rest of the skin in Skinstudio.  If not, is there a way to change it without Skinstudio?

Hi guys, this is the situation. I have an icon/object that when is clicked it launch a container with more icons. Now.. for the launching process I added an animation with 8 frames. So, (here it comes the problem) ... when the original icon is clicked you see the icons in the container and then the container running behind. I would like to add in the script of the icons inside the container something like "delay= 8... miliseconds?
