Here's another one: When I run, say, Open Office Writer, in the dock the running task is "soffice.bin", with just a blank generic icon. After minimizing the Writer window, clicking on the icon does nothing. I have to Alt-Tab to get it back. It is likely something with the way Open Office runs, and a minor annoyance, but still... It has come to our attention that some people may have had issues with some apps and WB and opted not to tell anyone about it.
Obviously we would like to know about them so we can resolve the issues.

Hiya,
I've been trying to contact the sales team for a while. I've tried emailing, several times. For a few months I've been calling - different times of day, different days of the week. No reply to email, and only answerphone, and no reply to messages I've left there.

Competition turns to fashion…”Scroogled” by MS
Well…Google does come creepily close to “wrong!” in its ads as well in its network spying while photographing surroundings. They say they don’t actually read the email…but their ‘scanning’ isn’t to be taken lightly.
So, MS wants a bigger market share for “Bing”. Imagine if they called it, “Bang!” or “Bam!”?

Not Responding when saving from Office
Hi,
Have Windows 8 (updated to Windows 8.1 now) with Office 2013 all Service packs and updates, when Fences (latest Download but not Beta) is installed and you "Save As" within Word / Excel etc they come up as "Not Responding" for anything from 5 to 30 seconds especially if you try and save to the desktop.
Remove Fences and there are no issues, Laptop is a Sony Z series with SSD and Intel i7 with 16GB Ram.
Anyone else seen this behaviour and know how to resolve.

Com Surrogate Error?
Anyone ever get a Com Surrogate error after installing and using Fences with 5+ fences on your desktop? I've gotten this error which leads to dllhost.exe running rampant twice after I've installed Fences. I've run all kinds of virus scans and malware scans and its not that. Does Fences react oddly to something in Windows 7 Lenovo Laptop?

Where have all the Windowblinds Master Skinners gone?
I have 4 out of the 5, and sometimes all 5 Master Skins on the front page of WC right now. I spend 8-10 hours a day, 7 days a week designing and trying to improve my skins, and when they are done I want to post them to the site, but I can't. No transparency for Windows 8 Metro
So I recently bought WindowBlinds in the hope that I would be finally able to get transparency back into Windows 8, just like in Vista and 7, but I can't find the option to do so. It's supposed to be in the "color" tab which isn't there:

IconPackager Windows 8
I cannot get IconPackager to change my live folders. I'm using a package that has live folders built-in. I've rebuilt the icon cache several times. When I look at the shell icons entry in the registry, it does point to my live folders icon package images. What am I missing???![]()

Filter out authors?
I won't be using any names, but I'm looking to "ignore" or filter out a certain author on the WinCustomize site. There is a section in particular that is just flooded by an individual producing huge numbers of items that I feel are sub-par and a style that I do not enjoy. The result is that I need to go through pages and pages of items to see 2-3 per page by other authors.
Is there something I'm missing that allows me to do this, or is there a way to enact a filter that ...![]()

Problems with Tabbed Dock shortcuts
When adding new shortcuts to or editing old ones in a tabbed dock I face an irritating problem:
1. Folders as target are not accepted by the "Browse" function. I have to first select a file as target and then later edit the link to point at just the folder.
2. If the shortcut points at a folder it is impossible to change the icon displayed. I have to first change the link to point at a file, then change the icon and then change the link back to what it should be and finally cor...![]()

DockMod…customizes your MacDock
I was casting about for stuff to apprise you of when I realized that I haven’t done anything for the Mac folks in a very long time, and that made me feel crappy.
So, over at Lifehacker I saw this… it’s not free, it costs $8 (which isn’t bad)…but it’s free to try. Which isn’t bad at all since you can save all your mods and trade them with other Mac folks (though like with WB, etc. you’d need the proggy to apply the skins).
