OD2.1 Minimized apps not previewing correctly
Was testing 2.1 before I upgrade and loving new drag to launch feature but there's one showstopper change I've found. In 2.1 you can no longer preview minimised applications correctly. When hovering over open app in dock the aero preview only shows the top bar rather than the app window. This showed correct preview in 2.0 versions. I've tested on 2 separate win 7 x64 machines with same results. Any idea if this is being worked on or is this expected behaviour now?![]()

A few nice things to have in Fences
I'm loving Fences more than I thought I would, but two things so far are standing out.
1. It would be nice if I could adjust the icon spacing within a fence (global or per fence)
2. It would be nice if I could change icon size in each fence independently of other fences or the main desktop.
I know #2 is asking a lot, but #1 should be doable.

WindowBlinds for Windows 8
When will we get WindowBlinds for Windows 8? Windows 8 has been released for a couple of months now.
Not only WindowBlinds, how about other software in the Object Desktop for which I paid and can not use?!
Many of us have paid a yearly subscription and for those of us who 'upgraded' to Windows 8 upon release, and those who had the beta versions for longer, we have not been getting our money's worth!

Windows 8.1 (Blue) Confirmed as a Free Update
Many rumors have been going around as to the price, if any, of the upcoming Windows 8.1 (aka “Blue”) update. Today we get a confirmation that “Blue” will be officially named Windows 8.1, and will be a free update to Windows 8 users.

How do you add WindowBlinds exe to MacType?
Hey all,
I like to use a program called MacType to help with font smoothing, but I can't figure out how to allow WindowBlinds access, or actually allow MacType access to WindowBlinds. When both are running, and I open MacType I see WindowBlinds is excluded with a status of "Ignored(disabled)", and it only shows under "inaccessable system processes". Does anyone know how to get it to work? Without MacType any fonts in any skins just looks bad to me.![]()

Icon movement animation
Hello,
After using Fences for a while, I wanted to know if there is any way to disable the animation of icon movements. For instance, if I move an icon out of a fence, all subsequent icons show a very slow animation of moving back 1 unit.![]()

Specialized Google and bing searches which yield “instant” answers. Pretty neat.
Was casting about for something which might help folks, when I ran across this in “How To Geek”. I compared Google with bing and ran into no differences, but I didn't test all the searches in the paragraph detailing them in Google.

Question on versions
Received email announcing Objectdock 2.1 but looking at the Stardock Central Installer, the only thing that shows available for download is Objectdock plus version 1.90. Are they different products, interested since I'm using windows 8 and the 2.1 version says it supports it, not sure about the 1.90 version.

ObjectDock v2.1 working but I cannot access the settings
I've been waiting for ObjectDock to be updated for Windows 8 as I love the idea of having a Mac-like dock so when I got the email this morning I immediately bought and installed it. It seems to be working in that there is a dock at the bottom with icons that appear and disappear as I open programs from my Quickmenu in the taskbar and I also have a menu at the top of the screen (Programs, Documents, Links and Other).

Bug Report? Taskbar
I've linked a partial screen capture to illustrate what is happening. Maybe there's a configuration option that would push the small icons up a few pixels, but if not, then I guess it's a bug? I'm using the Diamond skin, as you can see.
On the plus side, the install went smoothly, it's playing well with other Stardock enhancements that I use, and it doesn't break Otakusoft's DeskSpace.

registering
I have installed the windowblinds 8 after having unistalled windowblinds 7 and it starts up with a welcome screen telling me to unlock previous purchase.
When i fill in the license number it tells me its from an old instalation. When i try to shut down the registration page the program shuts down.
I have tried cleaning the Windows registry and it didnt help. and i have just renewed my object desktop a month ago.

WindowBlinds 8 Feature Request
Might I ask for an added function. I'd like to see the name of the skins in the previews without having to mouse over the preview. That's just me.
Being able to store the WB skins in a different location would be awesome as well.![]()

WB8 questions
well first, congratulations for rolling your new WB beta.
I'm pretty happy with my current OS (win7), WB (7.4) and SS (7.3) versions. Not looking to ever upgrade to win8 I'm wondering of what specific advantages would upgrading fromWB7 to WB8 provide for skinstudio creations.
Are you all planning to upgrade skinstudio and phase out WB7.* as has been done in the past with other versions.

Missing Exclude this icon from Fences' quick-hide [Fences 2.0 Final]
I'm using Fences 2.0 Final, the Exclude this icon from Fences' quick-hide context menu is missing from icons outside fences. Is this intended? Because the original Fences can exclude icons from quick-hide even if they are not inside a fence.![]()
