Skinning - an Extinction Level Event
Yesterday I decided to treat myself to the new version of Office. Having used a corporate version of Office 2010 for the last few years I quite fancied my own copy - Office Pro 2016. To go with this, I did a clean install of Windows 10. I have installed all the other programs I need, and, omitted games I no longer play. Everything is now squeaky clean. An option to disable "Live folders" view for no live/older icon packages.
Hi, I'm using some Icon packagers that does not have live folders, and in windows 10 most folder are live folders. Pretty much not getting any effect on folders. Disabling folder thumbnail will disable files and pictures view as well. And there are limited "Icon packager" themes with "Live folder" Is it possible for Icon packager to add a feature to disable "Live folders" and make them regular ones? Fences not sorting by name?
When i try to sort fences by name it moves the icons around in some order but not alphabetical and i can't find anyway of changing it so that it will work.![]()

After trying fences for a full month, I decided to get a license, as I considered it does the job... more or less, because it can still use some fine-tuning. Migrating to new Windows 7 laptop and get a popup that Fences may lot be loaded
Hi Moving to a new work computer and after tge install completed (with no apparent problem) the Fences app and icon appears on the machine but when I try to run it I get the pop up ... After I click ok I arrive at the Fences control panel where I am able to apply my license key and activate but do not see my snapshots from my old machine (just indicates "Loading") and it doesnt looklike I can create a fence or anything ....please help Thanks, Frank

Explorer.exe crashing when hitting Win + D
Hi, I have upgraded my Fences 2.0 to 3.0 to work with Windows 10 my I am having a glitch. Hello, i'm new there. I spent quite much time in the past messing with system register, tweaks and hacks and 3rd part tools and this and that. But personally i found all the "possible" customization still limited to what someone else is doing. Now my question is easy: how can i actually CREATE my own custom windows theme? Just noticed I've been on WC sixteen years this month. Seems like a lifetime. I was here the year before under a different username and much smaller user number. I had to create a new account (this one) because of problems with my username. So the fifteen years is for this username. Still, it's a long time. It's been an interesting time too. Way to Move Desktop Fence Between Monitors?
Basically as the title says. I have a multi-monitor setup and there are times it would be useful to be able to pull my "main" desktop page with all my icons over to the other monitor. In instances like if I have an app/game fullscreen on my primary monitor and want to access the fences behind it, or one of the monitors is off but Windows is still actively attempting to display to it (which is possible due to my configuration). Is there a purge bat file for WindowBlinds?
Hi, I'm having some issues with all my themes in WindowBlinds10. The Blur effect does not work whatsoever. I go into SkinStudio and it says that the background effect for the taskbar is set to Blur. I've tried installing the Stardock programs in different orders but nothing works. It even does this for the default themes installed with the program. The only thing I can think about doing is using a purge .bat script to see if that works. Can anyone help me? Thanks!![]()

How Can I Create a Color Preset for a Theme?
Greetings, I was wanting to edit one of the existing color presets to create a Black theme but adjusting the colors and contrast with the meters didn't turn out real well. I'm pretty new to Skin Editor but am willing to learn little by little. Can I edit or create my own color preset/theme? Choose what color to use for the taskbar, windows, buttons, etc.?
