Good day Everyone!
I just recently updated to Windows 10 Creators Update. After the update, I'm experiencing a sort of delay whenever I clicked on anything on my desktop. Clicking the icons, right clicking. Everything has a delay on it.

So I tried disabling Fences and voila! Instant response. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Fences, but performance is still the same.

 

Using Fences 3.0.4.12

Any help or suggestions would be truly appreciated. Thank you!

I can't install windowblinds since it downloaded with errors.  every time I open object desktop the download with errors is there. Can I get rid of the bad download?

Hello,

I have renewed my Object Desktop subscription and "My Downloads" says that my subscription is still expired. There is the renewal in my order history. I created a support request for this last Thursday and have not heard anything back. I can see the open support request but I am unable to look at it. Can someone tell me what is going on? This is the first time I have had to use Stardock Support, is it normal for it to take this long for a response?

I was forced to do a clean install of Windows 10 fall creator due to some weird bugs in the update.

I have a ghost image of the old drive and I am wondering if I can copy some of the ini files into the new install of fences 3 to reconstruct the layout.  I don't see anyway to back it up.  Also wondering if the pics of the layouts are stored in usable form i.e. jpgs and are retrievable?

So I'm having a conversation with Rhonin_the_wizard in the Star Control Forum in my Beta Feedback post, and I want to reply to his messages. The trouble is, I am unable to make any new replies, for the reason of "Additional replies would exceed the limit for new accounts." hello

i love fences. i am using it since years! is the main reason why i am still working with windows!!

but now I have an issue

i used to have a mac air with parallels and win and to switch between desktop pages i used to "left+right mouse button drag"
i had never been able to use the other option probably for overlaping of functionalities with the MAc machine

now i have recently changed machine, I have now a mac book pro with parallels and win 10

I am using Fences 3.0.5.12.

On the machine, the labels are not displayed anymore, although the option to always display them is on.
I tried to restart the machine, uninstall Fences and install it again... this does not solve the issue.

As consequences:
- I cannot move the fences anymore
- I cannot rename the fences
- I cannot remove the fences (the worst as I created one for test right in the middle of my screen...).

Hi!

I've to use Fences on 2 pc, a desktop at home (windows 7 that i'll upgrade to windows 10 soon) and a surface (windows 10).

What licence satisfy my needs?

After the setup on the pcs, what happens if I upgrade the desktop os to windows 10?

I've searched the WB forum for an answer but could not find one, so...

I've noticed that after skinning Windows 10 using the latest version 10.65 of WindowBlinds that most skins interfere with painting interface items such as 'back' arrows specifically in the title bar area of the various Settings applications after opening them from within the  Settings screen of Windows 10.  So I'm wondering if this is a known issue and if there is a solution; if not how do I removing skinning fro...

It seems there have been some posts on this before, but they didn't help me. So I figured I'd just create another one. I cannot seem to run Dream Maker on my Windows 10 PC. I just installed the app and it won't launch.

All I see, regardless of which compatibility mode I try to run it with, is this:



I've tried running it as admin too, just in case, but nothing works. This is the only app I seem to be able to find, and it's clearly very outdated. Is there anything I can do?

Anyone of the resident HW enthusiasts going to upgrade to upcoming AMD Threadripper or Intel i9? If yes, which one are you looking at?

Personally, i was thinking about sticking to my last year´s setup with 6-core Intel CPU, but the upgrade bug gets stronger the more i read about it Now i consider getting the CPU and new mobo and switching just 2 of those for my current ones, keeping the rest of the rig the same - which i think should be no issue. Yesterday I decided to treat myself to the new version of Office. Having used a corporate version of Office 2010 for the last few years I quite fancied my own copy - Office Pro 2016.

To go with this, I did a clean install of Windows 10. I have installed all the other programs I need, and, omitted games I no longer play. Everything is now squeaky clean.

I have not installed any skinning programs - at all. I no longer see what I need them for. Windows is perfectly adequate for the task.
