Hey I am a long time user of start8, and Fences 2.0. I recently updated to Start10 and Fences 3.0 with the steam sale and had a couple of feature requests and suggestions.

I know there's a way to see your Fences within All Programs list at the bottom of the screen. Is there any possibility we can get the option/feature added to pin a Fence to Start10 so it's featured at the top of the list so we don't have to scroll through All Programs to find a Fence that is being used consistently?

Used the 'Junior' Icon Package which comes with the Packager on Windows 10.

Works, BUT if I check the Windows Components with the 'SFC'-Command, sfc reports that the components are in need of repair.

After repairing with 'sfc' a lot of icons have been restored to their original images.

What should I do? Apply the icons again and let the components in a 'broken' state?

Anyone else with the same problem?

I definitely did use them earlier today, but noticed they are missing a few minutes ago. They were some roll-down types in the corner of my monitor.

I still have a couple other desktop icons so this isn't the double-click-to-hide thing, which still works btw.

The contents of  the fences still exist, I can see them by viewing my desktop from explorer. Rebooting PC did nothing.

 

edit: when I disable roll-up, the fences appear. Re-enabling, they disappear again. Could they so...

Hello, i'm new there.

I spent quite much time in the past messing with system register, tweaks and hacks and 3rd part tools and this and that. But personally i found all the "possible" customization still limited to what someone else is doing.

Now my question is easy: how can i actually CREATE my own custom windows theme? I'm not talking about what "rightclick > customize > themes" allows you to do, i'm talking about themes like that one.

I am runing Fences 2.13 (Stardock says it is up to date). Until recently it was fine, whith Fences hidden, the fences appeared when mouse-hovered, together with icons. Now, when mouse-hovered, the Fence with title appears, but the icons do not. Have tried various settings but no good. Any ideas?

Win10 Pro 15063.413

WindowBlinds 10.62

Any time either my desktop or laptop starts up, the clock disappears so there's just a big blank spot where date/time should be.

If I load another theme that theme's clock shows up correctly, and if I then change back to the Win8 theme I use, the clock appears.

Anyone else?  Any ideas why?

Haven't tasted it yet...but how can anything tasting like bacon be bad?

I have Fences 2, which is now buggy and won't be fixed. If I "upgrade" to Fences 3, for how much time exactly will it be supported? 

Please do not tell me "until v4 comes out", I would like to know how much time specifically this version will be supported before being abandoned like v2.

Basically, I would like to use it to "focus" me on the apps I am currently interested in.

I have enabled "When switching pages windows should be minimized and restored automatically". So that as I use the shortcut to switch pages, my windows get cleaned up.

This sort of works, but the window that is enabled after the switch seems completely random. If I leave for example Visual studio as my active window and I switch back and forth, I would like Visual Studio to still be the window in the ...

I don't think it'll be addressed because other users seem to have been requesting the same thing for the last 7 years, but is there any reason why Fences ignores and overrides my Windows 10 settings to disable all animations?

Without Fences installed moving an icon on the desktop happens instantaneously.  With Fences installed an animation is applied - the icon goes back to where it was originally and animates from that starting position back to where I just dropped it.  Apart from ...
