Fences has been causing me trouble for a while now as all that ever happens when Windows is launched is the following message:

"Fences does not appear to be Loaded. You may need to reinstall Fences."

That would be ok except that it never launches since the last update to Fences, it was fine before that but now it never starts; and tbh I'm starting to think I was better off without it, since at least before; I was always able to see by desktop icons, whereas now they fail to appear. Definit...

Due to the fact that I absolutely hate Contana and the way Microsoft collects data about people, I was curious if there was a good way to remove Cortana without harming the way Windows 10 works? Or should I consider buying a copy of 7?

For some reason, the icons inside my fences takes at least a second to register a click/double click, which is painful to say the least.

This has happened to me (very rarely) in the past, but the old trick of changing the Fences "Show Labels" option fixed it. Now its been over 1 week of this, and apparently its not going away.

I was using Fences 2.13 on Windows 10, but I know its not really supported so I uninstalle...

I don't understand this much

So I buy WindowBlinds with the hope of getting my Windows 7 desktop to look like XP Luna. Now I go to WinCustomize and go on the right side of the page and under Filters I tell it to look for Operating Systems, and something called Psuedo Operating Systems, plus I checked WM Shell...

Now I'm expecting the site to show me all the XP Luna themes I can download.

But I get all these far out themes which ain't Luna that's for sure. No XP is shown here.

What is the deal?

Hi All,

ObjectDock was last updated on July 15, 2014, nearly 2.5 years ago. Has Stardock abandoned it?

I'm trying to run it on my Surface Pro 4 running the latest version of Windows 10, and there are three major bugs:

I had this ever since I tried Fences months ago on Windows 10. I have the latest Fences, the latest Windows 10 Creator's Update, latest drivers, etc. - no problems with stability or graphics or anything. 

As you know, the Recycle Bin icon changes based on whether there is something in it or not. The icon displays the bin as either empty when it is empty or full when there is something present it. That is how it is supposed to be on regular desktop and how it is when Fences 3 is NOT used....

Using 3.0.4.12 and I can't move an icon to another Fence, if the Fences are in Roll-up view.

In order to move the icon from one Fence to another is to make the receiving deselect the roll-up view.

I update Fence to 3.0.4.12 version and now when I start my PC (OS win10) fences are hidden. I need to click on right mouse button to show fences but when I restart win10 fences are hidden again. I tried enable and disable "Always show icons at startup" option in quick-hide menu and I tried enable/disable others option in Fence menu but issue persists.

From yesterday i updated to fences 3.04 from 3.03 that did never give me problems like this.

now i had to uninstall it because 3.04 version cause immense lag on desktop and makes it unusuable + higher than normal CPU usage (i have an i5 7600).

i would like to revert to 3.03 but i cannot find a way to do it and now my desktop without fences is horrible, please help me!

note that im using the last windows version BEFORE creators update.

I have Fences and Start 10 installed in windows 10 Pro. 

So far, no problem with them. I just want to know if there is a way of preventing the fences that I created from showing in the Start 10 menu. In other word how do I remove the various fences from the menu. (can't use a simple delete).

Afer all if I have my desktop icon in various fences, what is the point of having them in the Start 10 menu also? I seem redundant to me.

Well the bad news didn't stop coming with the new year, as we'd all hoped, and this time it is a lot closer to home for Shaunna and myself.

Certain forum threads that I subscribe to (because I've posted to them) show up in my subscriptions as having been updated, but the forum won't show me the latest posts.

Hi,

have Fences version 3.0.3 with W10. Fences worked very ok till yesterday. I am not aware of any changes to my W10 system. Today "Fences does not appear to be loaded you may need to reinstall Fences". Pls help.

I have to use IE instead of edge when accessing my Comcast account page get blank screen. Put IE into exception page and it seems to work that way, non skinned.

The DesktopX weather widgets are not working AGAIN. Weather Underground did something to their feed so for the past few days the forcast has been disappearing.
