With the repeal of the internet privacy safeguards I've been thinking of switching over to an anonymous browser and TOR has been recommended as fulfilling that nook.

Are there any TOR users here and if so, what can you tell me about TOR.

On Windows 10, I frequently wake up my computer to find my fences have switched to a different screen. Windows numbers the screens the same, but my fences have moved and snapshots don't fix it. Could this be patched?

Need the ability to disable creating fences from both right and left, left mouse button, right mouse button.. just provide an option to disable fence creation.

Hello,

 

I can not install DeskScapes on Windows 10 because I keep receiving OneDrive error during installation.

FYI, One Drive is turned off from Run on Startup list because I do not use it, howver it simply means that it does not run, so I would not consider this as a reason.

 

Please, advise

I've been using Stardock products as a means to add more useful features to Windows, features that Microsoft should've implemented in the first place. I even downgraded my new PC to stay on Windows 7 Ultimate instead of the included Windows 10 due to various personal reasons, but not having reliable versions of the Stardock products I find it extremely hard to live without was a big, no, a HUGE factor in my decision to stay on Windows 7. 

Now I've actually put those feelings ...

IMHO, one of the best (and underrated) "clean desktop" apps was an object dock with multiple tabs. So instead of having multiple fences for each group of related apps, you had a single dock on the desktop and you could click through tabs to get to the grouping you wanted.

If there was some way to integrate that into a Fences option, I think that would be terrific.

Now, some people would tell me to just use the Object dock program. But isn't that no longer supported? I think the latest ...

Hi everyone! I have but one question... in 27 parts ( /BackToSchool reference)

Kidding, just looking for any recommendations or preferences as to what everybody installs after doing a fresh windows install, but prior to making a new image for easy restoration.

 

So far, my list of installed software is fairly small:

I enjoy reading articles in TechRepublic...I found this one very informative as to possible borking with the Creator Update.

Mind you, I know folks who opted for early update and it has gone just fine for them, without problems at all.

 

On the other hand, MS's big updates have a penchant for problems, so you might wish to wait with this one to see reports of problems before implementing the update.

At log in of my profile on Window 10 64bit my fences which are mostly lined up one below the other on the left side of the screen will be just a pile of icons on top of each other until the computer has finished booting up.

Then the fences will all appear as they should. All Rolled up.

My machine is darn fast. I7 6800, m.2 ssd, 32gb ram, nvidia 1080

All drivers current. Windows 10 with all current updates

Dell 5K monitor

I do have a few programs that are loading up at log in such ...
