Feeling sad today. My best buddy in the world, Spanky, died this morning at 6:30 AM. He apparently had a heart attack.
He was a good dog. I miss him already.
We were close. He loved me and showed it. Life will go on, but it'll never be the same......

I made backup copy of my data to .rar archive some days ago. Today I opened it and Winrar viewed: Unknown method in filename. I opened another rar file, no errors were found. Is there a method to fix this error?

My icons move out of the fence at times and locate themselves on the desktop and I have to put them back in place. Sometimes they just move to another fence and I have to look for them. Is there any way to lock them in the fence where they belong?

Perhaps some of you regulars here in the community will recall that I have stated in previous posts that I'm completely blind in my right eye. This has always caused me to labor twice as hard when creating my iconpackages. Hey.

 

So, i tried buying Object Desktop multiple times today using an international pre-paid Credit Card, however, it failed the purchase all the times i tried.
When i went to check out on my credit card, it charged 3 auths, but didn't finish the purchase.

How would i do to get a refund of that money and try to (hopefully) buy it again? I don't know why it would process the auths only and not the full product.
Also, im kinda scared since im new on that and i only had mon...

Hello! After a system crash program DeskScapes 3 requested the activation to recover repeatedly reinstalled the program , just activated , after several attempts activation , the program says that the maximum number of activations . The program is activated on only one computer . how to be?

Since I am using Windows 10 some of the Deskscapes won't work since Windows stopped using codecs so how do I get these to work with reliable codecs. I found Windows 8 codecs but was re flagged by my antivirus even though it is a Microsoft website.

I am attempting to make the active window more visible. I like the transparency of the title bars, but I am having serious difficulty differentiating the active window from others.  I go to change system colors, change the active title bar color, apply, but nothing changes.

I use  a tool called "John's Background Changer" which periodically changes my wallpaper. The bug is that Fences 3.0.1 still shows the old wallpaper when switching "icon screens", changing back to my actual wallpaper when the animation finishes, resulting in very unpleasant behavior.

I think long before global climate change matters one way or the other that the fate of humanity will be determined by how we make use of strong AI.

In the near term (next 5 to 10 years) we’re going to see a huge swath of jobs disappear.  This past week Panera bread added a kiosk to let me order my food.  Wendy’s and McDonalds are already heading that way too.

After editing some of the icons on my dock, the next day my dock refused to start and i received these errors and I receive them even after reinstalling object dock

I've been using Fences for quite a long while. I just decided to try DeskScapes. I immediately had problems with Fences. The icons inside the "Fence" show with full opacity. There's a setting within Deskscapes that addresses that, but it still isn't the way it's supposed to be. If there are more icons that can fit in the fence window, there's suppose to be a scroll bar shown. With Deskscapes active, all the icons show, even outside the fence window boundary.

W10 was a “Free for the first year” upgrade, which back then made me ask, “Are they going over to an Adobe model?"...i.e., "free trial, then pay per month" to continue using your computer? I believe I referred to it at the time as the 'dope pusher model'. Well, the end of the "First year free" is coming up, and I for one want to know what's in the "Anniversary Update".

Running Fences 3.01 on Win 7 with dual display

 

For some reason, I am not able to create new fences.  Drawing a rectangle on the screen doesn't "stick" and ask me what type of fence I want.

I un-installed Fences , did a registry check, and then re-installed.  I have the same problem.  My OLD fence definitions are still in place, so I know I did not COMPLETELY remove Fences so I can do a complete fresh install.

How can I completely un-install and then re-insta...
