running windows 10 pro x64

Not seeing a whole lot reportable in tech at the moment, so…Zika! Don't panic. Please. When I was in Jump School, there was a sign at the gate of the training instruments which read, "Knowledge prevents fear." My response was unprintable, and in a mixture of Hebrew and Arabic.

Hi, guys.

Since the release of Windows 10 with its godawfully ugly GUI I have been waiting for WindowBlinds 10 release to make the OS again pretty. So today I've bought 3 copies of WB10 for my computers and started playing with it on my main PC and to speak honestly I was kinda dissapointed. But hopefully it was because I didn't find some tweaks of how to make the GUI the way I want it so below are my questions and somebody with the knowledge please reply to them

Sleep mode kills Deskscapes

New Windows 10 install with latest updates. Starting/restarting computer is fine. Waking from sleep results in a black desktop, requiring reconfiguring Deskscapes 8.5.

I have uninstalled, rebooted, installed, rebooted and tried both the KLite and Shark codec packs. Deskscapes works perfectly in every case except when waking from sleep. Can anyone offer advice? Thanks in advance!

Hello Fellow Stardock Users!!

Ask 20 people which Object Desktop apps are working with Windows 10 and which do not and you will get 20 different answers. Of course I know Windowblinds 10 was recently released and it is awesome! I am using it on my Dell Alienware/Windows 10 platform and it looks fabulous.

Which OD Apps still do not work on Windows 10, 64 Bit?

I have just installed the latest version of Windowblinds 10 and then removed it within minutes. Not only does it make the taskbar on my second monitor move up and down (?!), worse, it slows my whole machine down terribly. Is the earlier version still available for download somewhere?

I installed the Windows Blinds trial, to test it on Windows 10.

I would like to recreate the closest appeance to the Windows Classic (XP Like) theme on Windows 7.

Is there a theme that does it? There are so many, it's not obvious to find the right one.

WB 10 does not skin Excel 2016 properly

So, I went into Settings/Per application and selected Add. T

Then I browsed to the Excel.exe and selected it. When a workbook was open, the title bar wasn't skinned with the skin I had selected in Styles.

Instead, the grid area had been "skinned" with the main color of the skin.

Add Edit: I tried a few more skins , and nothing changed in Excel.

On a side note:

When I try to create/Edit a texture for the Start menu, WB crashes.

Flickering issues

I have a license for both Start10 and WindowBlinds 10 just today I, in excitement, installed WB10 only to find it doesn't function properly.

It appears skinned elements, especially in the taskbar, flicker rapidly and sometimes turns black and back, furthermore buttons seem to not function especially in the taskbar. Seems to happen with any skin.

I'm running Windows 10 Pro 64-bit, Build 10586

I was wondering if anyone else has seen this?

With the release of WindowBlinds 10, is there a corresponding SkinStudio 10 that can be downloaded? Looked all over the Stardock site and could not find it.

Edit: Found it! Went to "My Account > My Downloads" page and found the SkinStudio 10 download under the Other section.

Hello,

When I installed WindowBlinds for Windows 10, I thought that modern apps would get skinned also, at least the top bar of the app. Was I wrong with that assumption? It seems to skin everything else, except for Office 2013 apps & modern apps. Do you know of anyway to fix that?
