I just upgraded to Windows 10 final and while I can apply a cursor in the new OS, it reverts to windows standard after awhile. As yet I haven't observed an obvious cause or pattern. Just a heads-up for your To Do list. I realize there will be "growing pains" as the new OS is adopted.![]()

Cannot uninstall StarDock 8 and Modern Mix in Windows 10. Keeps reinstalling on Restart.
I have used Programs and Features to uninstall both StartDock 8 and ModernMix "successfully" in Windows 10 but upon restart they return in the Start Menu.
Anyway to remove the win 8.1 version. I'm on Parallels vm.

Explorer Folder & Windows 10
More issues for me with Windows 10. So I have the Windows explorer folder on the dock, hovering over this gives you a preview of all open folders. Two issues here:
1. Currently, there is a black thumbnail included amongst the open folder thumbnail previews. Present even if I have just one folder open.

WindowBlinds and Windows 10
Am very pleased to report that WindowBlinds works great with the Windows 10 Tech Preview.
Upgraded from Win8.1, rebooted, and WindowBlinds works fine -- no problems.
I did have to uninstall both Start8 and ModernMix, but I expected it would come to that (in the short run).![]()

Bottom Left Hot Corner in Windows 10
In Start 8 there's a choice under the "Desktop" section to "Disable bottom left hot corner when the taskbar overlaps it." Why isn't this option in Start 10? I can't get rid of the "Search the web and windows" long grey rectangular block in the bottom left section of the taskbar and it is blocking my Browser icon.
Start 8 is so wonderful, why did they change it at all? Can someone please tell me how to get rid of this annoyance?

im only asking since after the latest news regarding Windows Server 2016 that I personal may use it as my default OS, Why.. ? it has ever thing That win10 has but with out all the garbage that comes with win10 ..

Feature Request: Web-style Color Settings
In the Fences Configuration Dialog in the 'Adjust color and appearances' section, it would be very nice to have a web-type color selector in addition to the sliders where a six digit color code could be enter to select the color. This would make it possible to select an exact matching color selection for a fence from a Windowblinds theme, like I do. Additionally a 'Eye Dropper' selection tool would make choosing a theme color even easier. The transpare...![]()

Bad two weeks for Android–Stagefright exploit and mRST backend plugin vulnerability
The first – the Stagefright exploit (several vulnerabilities) is apparently worse than the Heartbleed vulnerability. These could give the opening to run remote code from an MMS message, or even just viewing a specially constructed video on an infected webpage with embedded video content. The vulnerability is well explained here, and here.
There’s a fix for that out…you can check and fix with the app described here.

can somebody send me via PM the jpgutils.dll file please !? LogonStudio installer does NOT install it and LS needs it to convert jpg files to bmp and NO, my AV is not involved in the disappearing act ! You might say I can go without it only by dealing with bmp files, I know, but no ! I still want the dll !
Or maybe you know where I can find it ! I searched for an hour to no avail...

OD 2.20.0.850 seems to hang once in a while in Windows 10
Running a relatively clean install of Windows 10 Pro x64 and ever since I upgraded I've notice that OD seems to have periods of non-responsiveness that I've not seen in past versions of Windows. It is set to zoom on hover and stay on the desktop until i hold my cursor to the top edge. There are times where it doesn't pop up to the foreground and zoom and i cant click anything. The most recent incident also saw my cursor turning into the blue busy ring when i put the cursor over the d...![]()

I got myself a new Photocamera today
So I know it’s been silent for me for a long time - I didn’t contribute as much and didn’t upload anything over the last years.
The main reason was that I had too much to do and because I was under constant stress and pressure for the most time learning new stuff writing exams and also jumping my own shadow /hurdles and personal matters.
But I’m almost done with all of that and I almost eliminated all of these problems which is huge.

Embedded Keys and Windows 10 (SOLVED)
Does anyone have any experience with upgrading a laptop with an embedded key from Win 8.1 to Win 10?
I have tried with "the tool", with an ISO, and with a bootable USB drive. All have failed.
