Stardock Central & Proxy ?
Hello,
I'm behind a proxy with authentification and i can't use Stardock Central.
I have a small question.
Is it so hard to add an option window with fields for proxy url, proxy port, proxy username & proxy password ?

Microsoft keeps enhancing each new build for its Windows 10 Technical Preview. Here's how to ensure you're running the latest edition.
I just checked the watermark on my desktop and saw that I was running build 9841. I learned that Wednesday, Microsoft launched Build 9879.
Apparently I missed the last build, which was 9860. I assumed that, like windows 8, the updates would come via Windows Update....but no.

Object Manager Quits when clicking 'Install item'
Hello
I have bought Object Desktop Manager. However there is a problem. the Object Desktop Manager can't install anything. I am able to tick the item and then click install, but then nothing happens; The Object Desktop Manager had closed without a message.
This is not a compatibility issue with the items in Desktop Object Manager. The Object Manage simply quits and fails to install anything.
I have no error or warning. Any help would be appreciated![]()

Will W10 Updates Become Mandatory?
To understand this, you have to understand that W10 will have multiple editions, each requiring a ‘service branch’ all of its own.

Conflict between Nvidia DSR and Fences
Hi, with more recent versions of the Nvidia drivers when exiting a game that uses DSR explorer.exe consistently crashes.
This happens if Fences option "Preseve my desktop layout by scaling my fences" is chosen. If option "Don't preserve my deskop layout" is chosen then explorer.exe does not crash.
This only seems to have happened on the latest 2-3 versions of the nvidia drivers.
Not a major issue, but it still coudl be fixed.
This happens on multiople games, whether uplay, steam ...![]()

Omar Sharif...Gone at 83
Omar Sharif, best known for the characters he portrayed in "Lawrence of Arabia" and "Dr. Zhivago", and even played opposite Streisand in "Funny Girl" has died at age 83.
He was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease earlier this year, but the immediate cause of death was a heart attack he sustained while in his native Cairo.
Thanks for the great acting...and rest in peace, Omar Sharif.

I purchased Children of the Nile game on Stardock (Order # 1848814) and my order is listed on the Stardock site History. I had purchased it along with several other games. Fences with WindowsFX Graphics Anomolies
I am using Fences Version 2.13 and WindowsFX Version 5.15 on a Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit OS Dell.
I have discovered some interesting graphics anomalies when using these two software products together and was wondering if anyone else using both of these on their machine have run into this issue. Here the items I have found when using them together.

Kickstarter project "For the Love of Spock"
I, like many of you, am a huge Sci Fi fan and it all started with "Star Trek". My kids grew up loving it and now my grand kids are following suit.
I admit it, I cried when they killed off Spock, and was overjoyed when they brought him back and felt as if a family member had passed when Leonard Nimoy died. Never missed an episode or a movie - and have them all. First on VHS and now DVD and digital.

MS’s update policy for W10 will be…interesting.
Because the upgrade from W8.1 to W10 will be free for many, I wondered about how MS would make money. After all, it has pretty much given up on the phone part of the mobile market…
